Here goes part 3…
9) Shining Tears X Wind (http://shining-world.jp/tv_tearsXwind/) - airing April 6

Introduction:
This is based on the “Shining” series RPG games, namely Shining Tears and Shining Wind (hence the anime’s title of Shining Tears X Wind :3). Similar to the game, the anime’s setting is also in the [fantasy] world of Endias, where an area called “Liberia” consists of 3 states, each ruled by humans, elves, and beastmen, respectively. The protagonist of the story is 秋月蒼真 (Soushin Akitsuki?), who wanders around is in search for his lost best friend. In Endias, 蒼真 possess the ability to turn his feelings into “Soul Crystals”, and enable him to become a “Soul Blader”. Now a battle is about to ensue in Liberia, and 蒼真 was invited to join the side of the beastmen. Before the battle begins, 蒼真 sees that one of the Soul Blader in the enemy state is no other than his best friend.
Impression:
I was already attracted to the game before, especially when I saw the artwork, and the battle system. It seems that the anime has added this “friend turned enemy” stereotype in the plot, but I’m still looking forward to what else this show has to offer. It will also perhaps make use of the “partner system” in the game, so let’s see…
10) Kaze no Shoujo Emily (Emily of New Moon) (http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/emily/) - airing April 7

Introduction:
Emily is an orphan who gets sent to live with her relatives on Prince Edward Island, after her father dies. In New Moon she lives with her Aunt Elizabeth, Aunt Laura, and Cousin Jimmy, and learns to adapt with the help of her imagination and new friends. -from ANN
Impression:
Seeing the picture in the official site made me had the impression that it’s like a Studio Ghibli kind of anime. It really has this “Little Women” kind of feel to it. When I found out that it was based on a novel by L.M. Montgomery, it just strengthened the fact that this is going to be a classical anime (just like Little Women and Family Trapp). I love these classical animes because the development of the story and the characters has great depth. As such, despite the fact that this will be a slow-paced kind of anime, I’ll surely want to watch it ^^
11) Saiunkoku Monogatari 2nd season (http://www3.nhk.or.jp/anime/saiunkoku/) - airing April 7

I don’t think there should be any question as to why I’m looking forward this… Loved the first season (or rather, loving it… coz I’m still watching it :p), so of course I’m going to love this second season~ ^-^
12) ラブ★コン Lovely Complex (http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/lovecom/) - airing April 7

Introduction:
Risa and Otani are always being laughed at as the comedy duo. Risa, a girl, is taller than the average girl, and Otani, a boy, is shorter than the average boy. The two are always bickering and even their teacher sees them as a comedy act. But as their friendship develops, so does Risa’s feelings toward Otani. -from ANN
Impression:
I enjoyed reading the manga, and also enjoyed the movie~ It wasn’t all that deep, just a simple shoujo romance and entertainment, but enough for someone like me to enjoy… really looking forward to this ^^ Although the anime’s character designs didn’t quite capture the original “manga feel” to it (as it seems to have diverted a little from the manga’s artwork style), we’ll see about its “execution”
13) Chikyuu e (Terra e) (http://www.terra-e.com/) - airing April 7

Introduction:
In the far future, humanity has left behind an environmentally destroyed Terra and began colonization in order to reproduce their home. Humanity, now ruled by a super computer that controls the birth of children, sees the emergence of a new race called the “Mu”. The Mu, now hidden from the rest of humanity, have one dream, to return home, to Terra… -from ANN
Impression: I just love that pic on the site~ it captures the entire “sci-fi-epic (and love and romance~)” feel of the anime. An animated movie of it has already aired, back in the 80s :p Perhaps if I get to love this TV series, I’ll go watch that movie too (despite its “classic” artwork XD). I’m just wondering about how the story will be developed, considering that the manga of it only spans 3 volumes… well I guess we just have to watch and find out
14) 風の聖痕 Kaze no Stigma (http://pc.webnt.jp/stigma/) - airing April 11

Introduction:
4 years ago, a battle for deciding the rightful successor to the divine sword 炎雷覇[Enraiha?] happened in the Kaminagi clan, between 18-yr-old Kazuma Yagami and 12-yr-old Ayano Kaminagi. Kazuma was defeated by the young Ayano, causing his father to disown him (and the reason why his lastname is Yagami… he used to be a Kaminagi). Being part of a clan of flame wielders, Ayano earns the title of being a “flame sorcerer”. Kazuma on the other hand, does not possess the ability to wield flame, despite being in the same clan. As such, after his defeat, he went overseas and became a “contractor” of a wind spirit (and becomes a wind wielder) instead.
Possessing the divine sword, Ayano is constantly attacked by monsters who are after this powerful weapon. Together with the sword 炎雷覇, she fights against these monsters to become one of the best flame sorcerers. (from what I can understand, it’s like… the sword is spun into the silk of her uniform… o_O;; and is casted with all sorts of defense spells… still can’t quite imagine how that looks, so we just have to watch the anime to find out ^^)
Meanwhile, Kazuma returns to his country, and with his arrival comes a series of events leading to the death of the Kaminagi family members. Could he perhaps be taking revenge against the Kaminagis, and is involved with these incidents?
(from what I can understand, it’s like… the sword is spun into the silk of her uniform… o_O;; and is casted with all sorts of defense spells… still can’t quite imagine how that looks, so we just have to watch the anime to find out ^^)
Impression:
With a wind-wielding male lead that seems to have Sagara Sousuke’s personality, a flame-wielding female lead who kicks ass just like Chidori, and a cute little brother who’s the opposite of his brother, what more can I ask for?
It’s indeed an “elemental battle action”, as these two could either be allies or foes. That air of mystery in the story due to the uncertainty of Kazuma being involved in the series of killings just makes it even more interesting ^-^ Oh, and it’s based on a novel… though I haven’t read that yet (have to go search for it XD)
waaahhh!!! i like Shining Tears X Wind… not just because of the interesting plot but bcoz the protagonist looks cute too! im definitely gonna watch that! haha! so low of me to choose bcoz of that but hey, im a sucker for cuties, bishies, etc… hehehe! of course saiunkoku is already in my list… oohh… Kaze no Stigma looks pretty interesting too!! haha! especially if the guy has Sousuke’s personality and a girl which is a cross between chidori and shana would be so interesting… its like FMP all over again! woot! only they have elemental powers and not warfare…

more more! add more upcoming interesting anime! hehehe
Ooh~ definitely watchin’ the 2nd season of Saiunkoku (funny that I just got into it resently and I’m <3ing it! Indeed. *nods*, whenever I finish watching the 1st season. XD; )
Haven’t played the Shining Tears game, gotta friend who <3’s it. Art looks decent, though the plot seems a bit, well.. cliquish. But, I think I’ll give it a shot anyway.
Kaze no Stigma seems a bit interesting too. ^^ Oh yeah~ SApphiRe, you’ve gotta good point there. XD; Bishies get my attention too, but sometimes that’s just not enough. ^^; That would be quite amusing if that was the case. The main girl does remind of Kaname from FMP and Shana from Shakugan no Shana and the main guy had Sosuke’s personality. XD;”
@sapphire: LOL
I’ll go post again tomorrow, and that’s supposed to be the last batch… unless something else adds up to my list XDD
waaaiiii~~ Shining Tears X Wind… looks nice and I am a big fan of fantasy-type anime (RPG lover <3 FF7!) I recently found some nice artwork of it while I was browsing online galleries for artbooks. I wondered what it was, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it here.
The blond girl reminds me so much of one of my Ragnarok Online characters with the Elven Ears and Angel Wings (must post something about that soon). Thanks for the previews!
Kaze no Shoujo Emily! I’m dying to watch it! I read the books and they are just great! I’m sooo excited ^_____^!
Such a pity people don’t seem to be interested in this… I guess it means no subs for a looooong time TT
yeah~! Kaze no Shoujo Emily is great~~~ anyways, I’ll go on blogging about every episode that comes out, so you can go read it in the meantime :3
