I Love Cardcaptor Sakura
I managed to finally finish watching Cardcaptor Sakura yesterday! I did not get bored at all and watched all 70 episodes intently and with much gusto.
What?!?! What planet are you from? Have you been hiding in a rock for all these years? Loser!! Hey, hey, easy now. I know, I know… I AM a loser and I do not have any good excuse as to why it is only NOW that I managed to feast my eyes on such a wonderful series. I truly regret not being able to watch it earlier. Anyway, enough hate, as I have been successfully converted to a CCS fan!
What is Cardcaptor Sakura? Cardcaptor Sakura is a very successful magical girl franchise from the all-female powerhouse team, CLAMP. Sakura Kinomoto, our very cute 10-year-old heroine, accidentally opens an enchanted book in her dad’s study one day. Inside the book is a set of magical cards, the Clow Cards. Unwittingly, she uses one of the cards, The Windy, and through its power scatters the cards throughout the city. Kerberos (or Cerberus in Greek Mythology), the guardian of the Clow Cards, awakens and explains that it is now Sakura’s duty to collect all the cards before they go haywire and let loose their mischief all over Tokyo. This then leads to the start of Sakura’s adventures as a Cardcaptor.
Cardcaptor Sakura is a wonderful gem and it has earned a spot in my list of favorite anime! Hurray! It is a must watch for any magical girl genre fan! Even if you are not a fan of magical girls, most likely you will still enjoy this light-hearted and ultra kawaii (cute) series. I highly recommend this series, go watch it now and join me and other fans in our love for CCS!

I think my first was DBZ. But yeah, CCS would definitely invite a lot of people to get into anime as it is one of the best magical girl shows ever

Woah! Sakura was my first anime ever…(Actaully pokemon was, but it was such a failure so don’t count that) I watched it when I was around 7-9. I’m glad you watched this series!!! It is no doubt one of the best magical girl series ever!^^
