The book is great. Plus, aside from LMM's trademark overflowery descriptions, it's not too draggy or hard to read like other "old" books. It'd be better if you read it after watching the anime though. If not you'll most likely get dissapointed at the cuts and changes from the anime. Go read it. The book is great. Still my curiosity to see how much they'll change the story and Kawakami Tomoko XD are too hard to resist, so I'll most definitely keep an eye on this. And this series seriously needs more loving! Since the Emily series is one of LMM's most popular works after Anne I thought more books fans would be interested...
