I know this one’s been out for about a week now but I just felt the need to announce it ever since I got to listen to the tracks this morning. ^^ The OP Single of Lucky Star came out last May 23, 2007 and has been selling like hotcakes over the past week. It even ranked #2 in the Oricon charts (Japan’s version of the BillBoard) outselling Haruhi’s ED Single for Hare Hare Yukai for its first week of sales by almost double the amount.

Before finally embarking for Sa Province and treat the patients in Koringun, Shuurei has to get past the last hurdle for this mission – convincing the elder statesmen and the emperor himself to agree to their plans. Things are not easy as it seems, considering how close-minded the officials are, and couldn’t understand the reason why Shuurei and Yuushun acted out without consulting them – as though disregarding their value, and the value of the Imperial Court itself. Furtheremore, the rumors from the Jasenkyou about blaming Shuurei for the disease in Koringun puts even more pressure on her.

Shuurei has certainly done her best to reach this far and achieve what she has achieved, especially for the sake of treating the patients in Koringun, and she certainly won’t stop until she has been able to overcome this hurdle of convincing the officials. Just as the title states, “Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity”, or rather “Use the means and God will give the blessing”. What ‘means’ Shuurei uses to get past this ‘extremity’, and how God’s blessings are bestowed to her, is what we’re going to witness in this episode.

Announcing two upcoming games for the coming Autumn Season (what a long wait!). First off is this Kyou Kara Maou game for PS2 entitled “Shin Maou Kuni Holiday” which will now be the 2nd KKM game for PS2 to date, and the Ookiku Furikabutte game for Nintendo DS! There are no set dates for these games yet, but it’s still great to know that we have something to look out for~ Gonna be on the lookout for the updates on this :3

As expected from an anime like KKM, this is going to be a fantasy adventure game with an original story (a fun wacky story from what I can see), and will most likely be a simulation / adventure game just like the previous one. The great thing about this new Kyou Kara Maou Holiday game is that, it’s full-voiced!! The seiyuu cast will most likely be the same as the anime’s, and so fans will certainly be delighted to hear all the KKM characters brought to life once again, in this game Based from that picture I got from the official site, it looks like we’ll see the characters in SD, and I certainly hope we’ll see them in that form! ^-^

Finally, we get to see the end of this arc. The game was quite exciting till the very end. No, Ren did not come up with a new, super powered, anti-gravity, laser-speed pitch to win the game. The Nishiura team utilized what they had, along with good strategizing, and a spot of luck to clinch the win.

For the first time, I think I’m gonna praise Gonzo for changing things from the novel with this episode, which makes up for the other entertainment they deprived us of. The changes they did especially made this KazuxAya fangirl in me really happy, since it contributed to more waff Kazuma x Ayano moments (but of course there are still many many things omitted / changed, which is why you have to read this deep frying :p)

Kaze no Stigma Episode 7 - The Value of One’s Soul
