I must've been paying too much attention to subtitles to notice -_-;;; Episodes 3 & 4 have a slightly more interesting plot than the first two episodes though. Since four episodes is usually enough to judge a series, definitely give the next two a try. Even then, it seems that Hei's motives are only revealed in episode six... this series takes a while to get momentum. The "people with powers" theme does come up quite often, but it's usually not as gritty as in DtB. In that sense, I think DtB succeeds in establishing a noir, realistic atmosphere.
