Synopsis: A Yoma has been on a killing spree in the Rabona. Clare is tasked to find the Yoma but without being found out she’s a Claymore.

I think Claymore would have been better (not that it isn’t any good) if the soundtrack was composed by Kajiura Yuki, like that of Noir and .hack; or by Yoko Kanno, like that of Escaflowne. Grand and gothic music would fit the holy city of Rabona. Too bad Yoko Kanno had to compose for an anime like Darker Than Black. They must have paid her real good.

Anyway, this episode showed interesting interactions between Clare and Raki. Raki was a bit surprised seeing Clare act like anyone normal. Clare said it was part of her training. She said she can even act like a prostitute. Raki’s reaction, when Clare asked if he needed demonstration, was priceless.

So far, Clare was not able to kill the Yoma. Her ability to sense them was temporarily suppressed by the pill she took. Two knights of Rabona also got in her way but Clare was saved from being discovered as a Claymore thanks to Raki’s acting. But will Clare find the Yoma before it’s too late? The next episode will tell us.
