yeah... Koren is indeed the capital city... and 'jou' must be referring to the 'city' itself, or perhaps the place where they're staying at? (the 'office' of the officials there, where Ensei, Eigetsu and Sai Shou are working) :)

but in any case, I'll just leave it as Korenjou... to keep it faithful to the original :p

hehe... and Ensei can't seem to stay put with everyone gone out someplace XD That's why he immediately rushed out when he received the letter from Shuurei, like an animal who was set free from his cage XD

About Korenjou:

I believe this is the capital city of Sa Province. The word "jou" can also mean city...seeing that Saiun is an ancient-china-type setting, I think it's probably closer to "city" rather than "castle"?

Ensei just means that since everyone else is away and he's entrusted with the governorship, he HAS to stay put. :)

@chendy: no problem~ I think many KokuMono fans are as impatient as you are XD

about the Korenjou part... I was actually doubting my ears (and the chinese sub) so I checked the novel... and it is indeed Korenjou, with the 'jou' as 'castle' (or read as 'shiki' in some cases), and the Koren is the place in Sa Province (where Ensei and Sai Shou are) ^^

Again, thank you for the detailed summaries, since I am far too impatient to wait for another group to pick up the subbing. I've heard that KissSub will do Season 2, but that they're going to finish subbing Season 1 first, since they're in the middle of it.

Also, I think when Ensei says "Korenjou", it's "Kourin-jou", like "ojou" or "young miss". Ensei seems to enjoy handing out cute nicknames. ;D

glad to see I was able to bring you joy (and *gasp* life! LOL XD) Guess I'm kinda like Yougetsu now, huh... (bringing people back to life and all) :p

@Jean: you're welcome! :) (oh, and just give us an email regarding those questions, ok? ;) )

@bootoye: yes... less bishies... unless they shift scenes from time to time, from Sa Province to Kou Province, or unfold other events... >.>

yeah, it's most likely a 'figurative' death, given what Eigetsu said before, when he was asking Yougetsu to give him more time...

Thank you for the summary as always.
This wek it took me a little longer to look at the ep.

I guess this means that Shuurei is going back to Sa province and we shall be seeing less of Reishin and Ryuuki and all the wonderfully cute bishies of Kiyou.

I am curious about Eigetsu though and I still think its a personality 'death' that he will experience.

Hi, thank you for your summaries. Could not find english subtitled episodes of the 2nd season. So reading your summaries really helped me when watching the raw episodes. Where do you get to watch the chinese subtitled episodes?

@Ani_d: Glad you liked my summary! ^^

Sigh... I also miss Ryuuki~~~~ >_< (well, there's probably lots of stuff going on in the background...) the next time we'll see them will most likely be the part where Riou will once again make his appearance...

there's actually been discussions in Impz's Saiunkoku post that the disease might just be cholera, given the symptoms mentioned too... although it's also possible that it's typhoid (with the capability of being spread through water contamination). Typhoid and Cholera are closely related diseases too...

And this 'Senya' might just be that real 'Senya'... though I still have this hunch that Sakujun will make a comeback later on... perhaps he'll appear when we least expect it (unexpected surprise yet again) o_O
