L and Misa Amane Nendoroids from Good Smile Company
Good Smile Company strikes again and announces the release of two Death Note Nendoroids, perfect to go with your Light and Ryuk figures. These cuties are scheduled to be on sale on September 2007 for 3000 yen (~50 SGD or ~1500 PHP). Like previous models, these stand at about 4″ tall with several interchangeable parts.
L Nendoroid
You can have L sitting or standing. L will delight you with several facial expressions: annoyed, blank stare, looking to the side, and the most amusing of all, super SHOCK! This design was really thought out well by GSC to gain maximum profits since you can connect L’s hand to Light’s handcuff accessory!
Misa Amane Nendoroid
Misa is set to come out the same time as L. Her expressions include: happy, snickering, dumbfounded, smiling, and blush rabu-rabu. Again, perfect to pair up with your Light Nendoroid.
Thoughts
I really don’t find Misa cute, except for the blushing expression. The snickering one is a bit creepy.
I mentioned before that I wanted to buy the Yuki Nagato Nendoroid, but seeing how cute L is with Light, I am having second thoughts. The fangirl in me went berserk when I saw L. If I can get my grubby hands on it, I may not be able to stop myself and bite its head off… no worries though since there are several spare heads *evil laugh*.
But, where are the cakes and the candies? Are sweets sold separately?! Nuuuu…

WOW!!!! that L is really cute, me wants it X_x, never really like misa as a female lead though, I always thought that she was just a pretty perfume bottle with nothing of a good essence lol.

I don’t know, the Misa nendoroid does not appeal to me at all. I think the doll accessory looks slightly better than Misa o__O heheh

but well, we’re not that sick… we just like seeing L and Light together (since they look cute with those handcuffs), and the BL undertones… but that’s it (only shounen-ai level, not yaoi, so to speak :P)
and I’d have to agree with lightbringer regarding Misa… she really does look creepy in there o_O

The other ones are just as awesome. With Misa, the snickering one kinda creeps me out and the rest are alright. She’s not my favorite DN chara, but I do like some of her outfits. XP Overal though, L totally owns comparing to Misa.
