Can you pimp my ride like this?
I just came from watching the most ridiculously awesome movie of the summer—Transformers. The experience was nothing short of ORGASMIC.
Big summer tournament, lucky draw, Haruna and Mihashi’s chance meeting, heartwarming reunion, eloping, seeded teams, going against the former champions, new practice schedule, Momoe’s campaign against pessimism, male cheerleaders, and Akimaru’s sojourn to the girl’s toilet in…
Ookiku Furikabutte 11 - The Start of Summer 「夏がはじまる」
Because GONZO cut so much stuff from this episode, I had to separate my deep frying into two parts because of its lengthiness…
I shall say no more and just invite you to partake in this deep frying~ Enjoy~ >3

I should’ve had more screentime!! RAWR
I should’ve known that having the anime stay faithful to the novel in the early part of the arc is an OMEN of a forthcoming “omission disaster” TT___TT. Hence, not cutting much in the previous episodes has taken its toll in this rather more critical part of the arc, taking away much of the antics with Ayano, Kazuma, Ren, and the supposedly ‘romantic antics’ as well.
Prepare for some DEEP DEEP frying for this one, thanks to the people who handled the Ren arc x__x On a positive note, this means that almost nil will be cut off with the last episode of the arc (hopefully), because there’s only about 80+ pages to cover (including the epilogue at that), so we’ll most likely be able to see the Kazuma x Ayano ‘scene’ I’m most awaiting >3 (Don’t disappoint now, GONZO, or I’ll really bite you >E)

The Scrumptious Anime Chefs bring to you an almost complete list of this summer season’s anime. With a rather large disparity in our tastes, we’ve included “Chef Chaff” in each of our preview, to give you an idea of what we think of the title.
Don’t forget to tell us what YOU will be watching. Bon appétit.
Kaze no Stigma Episode 11 – Each One’s Determination
Ren finally rids himself of any confusion as he realizes that he wants to see Ayumi again, and even gains the resolve to protect her, believing that there’s gotta be some way to save their clan from their fate. With this episode, Ren finally realizes what it truly means to protect someone, a same sentiment that both Ren and Kazuma share as brothers.
Synopsis: The first prince, by the emperor’s permission, is gathering Chagum’s belongings to burn them and purge the curse. Shuga investigates the drought sign.

This was a Shuga episode. It started out with him visiting Chagum’s mother, the second empress. She seems to have transferred to another house. She said that since she moved, she has learned to do housework for the first time. She is proud that her hands are becoming what one would call “mother’s hands”. I think Shuga felt a little awkward during the visit. He felt responsible for triggering the chain of events that would lead to Chagum’s “eventual death” (he consulted the Holy Mage afterall). The second empress asked Shuga to confirm that Chagum is still alive, that is if Shuga really wanted to repay her. I don’t know if it is known within the court that the second empress hired a bodyguard to protect Chagum. If so, the emperor would have dealt with her.

Ayano actually owns a hakama! (part of her wardrobe showcased only in the manga)
I’m still on the search for the Japanese version of the Kaze no Stigma chapters, but unfortunately I can’t find any (and I’m not fortunate enough to get hold of the Dragon Age Magazine where it’s serialized). I plan to buy the tankoubon when it comes out, but I don’t think it’ll be released till months from now >< Anyways, I read two chapters of the Chinese scanlation and I really like how things are going with the manga :3 Without the Japanese version, I guess I'll be sticking to this ><
Synopsis: Miria suspects the organization’s motives for sending them to a hunt for an Awakened Being.

Miria couldn’t help but ponder on why they were sent to deal with an Awakened Being. What made it suspicious was the fact that there’s only one single-digit Claymore in the group and that even the lowest ranking Claymore, Clare, was sent.
Synopsis: The fight against the male Awakened Being ensues and the truth behind them is revealed.

Miria was worried that with her team, defeating the Awakened Being would be tough. Though Helen and Deneve showed exceptional abilities (Helen could stretch her arms while Deneve regenerated an arm quickly), the Awakened Being easily rendered them unfit for battle. Clare was knocked down too. Only Miria was left to fight.
