Synopsis: Miria suspects the organization’s motives for sending them to a hunt for an Awakened Being.

Miria couldn’t help but ponder on why they were sent to deal with an Awakened Being. What made it suspicious was the fact that there’s only one single-digit Claymore in the group and that even the lowest ranking Claymore, Clare, was sent.

Miria found a connection between the four of them — they nearly awakened: Clare, after fighting a Yoma in Rabona; Helen, getting carried away; and Deneve while testing her limits. As for Miria, she was sent on a hunt for an Awakened Being and it turned out to be a close friend of hers who had awakened. In her distress upon finding out, Miria nearly awakened too.

Since then, she has secretly sworn revenge against the organization. Miria thinks that the organization may be trying to get rinid of them. Since they all have nearly awakened, they might get fully awakened in the future. Perhaps the organization deems it easier to dispose of them now.

Miria explained that though they somehow reverted, the awakening process is irreversible. It’s like the process halted before it completely finished. Partially awoken Claymores can be stronger than those who have not. Miria told Helen, Deneve, and Clare that in time they can even surpass single digit Claymores in power.

Miria’s theories somehow shocked Clare and the rest. Miria told them that as far as the organization’s intentions, she only has theories but she will continue her investigations. She advised them to behave and to follow orders so they won’t draw attention to themselves. She also told them to beware of the top five Claymores: Alicia (#1), Beth (#2), Galatea (#3), Ophelia (#4) and Rafaela(#5).

So far, only Galatea has been shown in the series. I think Ophelia will be shown next.
