This might seem weird that I’m already writing about episode 15 when I haven’t finished the summary for episode 14 yet, but rest assured that I’m still working on that (and a deep frying post, because of some juicy omissions yet again! ). Anyways, this is just a teaser for the episode that recently aired…

Ayano and Catherine’s catfight continues, and their battle heats up even more with Kazuma at stake this time. Catherine actually manages to have Kazuma coach her in this battle, which finally brings about the development of the love triangle between these three characters. Catherine will be taking Kazuma with him to America if she wins, making Ayano even more motivated to defeat her. Ayano proclaims that she won’t let Kazuma get taken away by someone else, because…

he has to stay with her and continue treating her to different restaurants… ^^;;;;;; (what do we expect from Ayano?)

In the course of the battle, Catherine boasts how her ‘partner’ Kazuma has taught her how to go about defeating Ayano, and Ayano manages to become honest (somewhat) and was about to blurt out “Kazuma’s partner is…” (no one else but me!), but just goes on with her attack instead of finishing off what she was about to say :p (she was really pissed by the mention of ‘partner’, since it’s a ‘title’ that belongs to her)

As Catherine’s coach, Kazuma also tells her of Ayano’s weakness, and for the first time (?), Ayano manages to realize this weakness and defeat her opponent without his help (finally!) So, having Kazuma coach Catherine has its merits after all… and despite what Kazuma said to Yukari and Nanase (that he’s simply Catherine’s coach, but Ayano showed quite a performance in this battle) they know that Kazuma did this for Ayano’s sake as well

Catherine accepts her defeat and becomes friends with Ayano… but only for a little while. Because despite the conclusion of the “battle for taking Kazuma to America”, Catherine still hasn’t given up on her feelings for Kazuma :p

And guess what? She’s going to appear in the next episode again! Next week is going to be some onsen episode, so we’ll get to see Ayano and her friends in their swimsuit, and Kazuma (as well as Genma) in their *ahem* hawtness It seems that they’re going to mix in some Catherine vs Ayano rivalry with the father and son brawl that’s going to happen in the next episode, so I’m not sure if we’re going to see this scene:

I am crossing my fingers and hope they will make us see this…! (having omitted or changed the scene I wished to see in episode 14 was already depressing to bear )

And well, I think people would’ve noticed by now that the anime is diverting from its main plot and is featuring all the short stories instead >__> I was surprised that they already showed this Catherine’s Revenge story when it’s included in the recently released Ignition volume 4 (but it’s been published in the magazine years ago)… next week’s episode will be coming from Ignition volume 2, and the next one is yet another short story about this magician (?) o_O

Sigh… I’m having mixed feelings about showing all these short stories… Although I am happy that we’re being fed by Gonzo with much Kazuma and Ayano antics, I also want them to show the main plot…! D: I want to see THAT fight between Ayano and *secret for now* :p

I’m crossing my fingers (again) and hope that they’re simply preparing us for the serious battle that’s going to happen in the next arc (involving Lapis), where the revelation about Kazuma’s past will be shown… coz if not, then Kaze no Stigma is going to be “all short stories” until the end now D: (unless they plan on having a second season?! x___X )
