Synopsis: Clare fights with Priscilla.

Clare fights Priscilla at the crater of a volcano. No matter how Clare tries to strike, Priscilla blocks her blows effortlessly. Easley, who is watching the fight, comments that Priscilla has turned back into her old self like when he first met her. He also comments that Clare’s power is strange.
Miria, Helen and Deneve arrive at the base of the volcano. They notice that Clare’s power, has grown even more. They hurry towards the crater. Deneve asks Miria if she knows something. Miria replies that she came across something while she was investigating the organization. She asks Helen and Deneve if they have ever wondered why Clare is assigned the lowest rank though her powers shift to something greater. Deneve replies that it must be because her powers are unstable. Miria confirms it. She explains that Clare is not a half-Yoma, half-human like them. Implanted within her body are not the flash and blood of a Yoma but that of another warrior, Teresa.
Helen and Deneve are shocked. Miria explains that Clare volunteered to become a Claymore and that she must have some connection with Teresa. Miria thinks that the organization certainly would not agree out of sympathy but they must have thought that it will become another experiment. The three then understand that Clare wants to avenge Teresa. Miria, however, comments that with Clare’s current condition, she might awaken completely before the battle ends. If she is awakened, there’s no guarantee she can defeat Priscilla.
Meanwhile, Jeane and Raki are also looking for Clare. They find out that Miria and the others has left a trail. Raki asks Jeane why she cares for Clare so much. She replies that Clare saved her life. Raki tells her that Clare saved his life too. Jeane explains that Clare is fighting for someone’s sake too. The Awakened Being she is fighting took something precious from Clare but there are those whose lives are tied to her as well.
Back to Clare, Priscilla tells her that she finds it weird the person she is fighting is weak. She even calls her Teresa. Upon hearing her name, Clare snaps. She uses her flash sword and Priscilla’s sword falls. Clare tells her not to use that name but Priscilla says that it’s Teresa’s fault. She did horrible things to her family and to Irene and the others. Clare leaps to the air and aims for Priscilla’s head. Blood falls from Priscilla’s forehead but it is not her blood. She has impaled Clare with her horn. Priscilla then shoots tendrils to finish Clare.
Helen and the others arrive just in time to save Clare. Priscilla greets them and introduces herself as the #2 warrior. Miria thinks that Priscilla’s memories are frozen at a time before her awakening. Miria tells Helen and Deneve to flank her sides while she attack her head on. Priscilla wonders why they fight. She thinks they must be on the Yoma side.
Still, fighting Priscilla is a challenge though Miria manages to cut off her right wing. Priscilla releases more yoki.
Jeane and Raki arrive at the volcano’s base. She tells Raki to hang on to her. Raki says that her wounds might open again but Jeane asks her if he wants to save clare. Jeane, carrying Raki, heads towards the crater.
After Priscilla’s release of yoki, Miria, Helen and Deneve realize that Priscilla hasn’t fully awakened then. Priscilla strikes. She throws some projectiles from her wing which hits Helen. Miria attacks but Priscilla is able to judge from the illusions. Deneve hurls a sword at Priscilla but she catches it and throws it back, hitting Helen. As Deneve tries to help Helen, Priscilla cuts off her arms. Helen stands up but Priscilla cuts off her legs. Priscilla then drops Miria from her hands.
Clare sees how Miria and the others have fallen. She wonders why she is just sitting, doing nothing. She remembers how Priscilla killed Teresa. Clare gains a new resolve to fight but realizes she needs more power. She releases yoki once again.
