Yuumi and Narumi~

Got some info from the latest Newtype that came out, which lists down a month-long worth of teaser summaries for upcoming episodes of most, if not all, airing animes. That of course, includes KimiKiss. With this, I decided to share the little bit of this info, for you guys to see a glimpse of what direction this anime is taking. A viable and true fact at that, compared to my little love prediction :p

Episode 2 – Cool Beauty

Mao-neechan notices that Kouichi has feelings for his classmate Yuumi Hoshino, and decides to support him. She becomes the love cupid who mediates between these two, while she herself is waiting for a new encounter, a chance for love perhaps.

I’m thinking Mao has pretty much resigned to being on the childhood friend status, and has fully accepted the fact that Kouichi likes someone else. She’s happy for him, what can I say

Episode 3 – Book Mark

Kazuki’s sister Nana enters Kibina High School as a freshman student, and decides to hold a karaoke welcome party for Mao-neechan. Having heard about this, Mao invites Yuumi to join them, in the hopes of making her and Kouichi closer. Not much spoiler info given here in this episode, so we’re still not sure if any developments did happen between these two bashful people

Episode 4 – Step In

One month passed after the karaoke event, and there is still no visible progress in Yuumi x Kouichi’s relationship. I guess this means that nothing much but moments of silence and blush happened in the karaoke incident ^^;; Mao frets over this lack of development, and thinks of a plan on how to get Kouichi closer to Yuumi.

I’m hoping there’s something more in the episode than just this, particularly focus, or at least a glimpse, on the other relationships.

Episode 5 – Jump Up

Mao gets asked by Kai on a date, and learns about his dream of becoming a musician. Attraction starts as Mao gets to see this other side of him, as he plays the saxophone. Kazuki on the other hand who has known about the lonely genius Eriko and makes a decision.

I think this episode is what intrigues me the most, based solely on these teasers. First of all, how can the cold and hostile Kai suddenly ask Mao on a date? I hope there are scenes in the previous episodes which made us see this development. In any case, I’m happy to see that they’re indeed pairing up Kai with Mao :3

If they won’t show that ending with Asuka, I might just talk about how that “route” went about. We’ll see. :3
