@stampede: I still am hoping KimiKiss will delve into the deep side of things, but I'm not keeping my expectations too high so I won't be disappointed :)

Insert songs would be a wonderful addition to this series! it will certainly be a nice effect to convey the mood in the scenes :3

@Karisu: I can understand girls being engrossed in Barbies... but the frogs are really disturbing. they're ugly >__< but then again who am I to judge the preference of these girls... >.> I just find them really distracting, when they go on showing the "froggy theatre" in the midst of a serious mood...

Just found this blog, and wanted to say I love KimiKiss. Haven't seen any other blogs really covering the show, so this was nice to find!

I just wanted to say that I really like the frogs. I had no idea that there were people out there that didn't! I think they go along perfectly with the tone of the series and I see the interaction between the girls roleplaying with the frogs completely normal.

I remember girls doing the same thing with Barbies (and Ken) all the time when I was growing up, so the behavior seems perfectly fine to me!

Just a thought...

If H&C is about people coming to terms to reality (finishing college life, musing about meaning of life, meaning of love) hence the monologue depicting intraconflict..

then KimiKiss is about people indulging in naivete (i.e. school-life romance), I guess... I think there's no use of monologue (and making an effort to make this show looks 'deep') because maybe what's on the head of those two guys (Kouichi and Kazuki) are crowded with nothing but how to score with the girls.

If only there are insert songs again

@FlareKnight: I also can't see myself being engrossed over those kind of stories... they'll make you feel even more depressed o__O

and that frog... seems to remind me of Dr.Lizard or some other comic/cartoon villains >.>

Yeah does seem like he'll be busy for the time being with Eriko. Wouldn't mind him fixing it up sooner or later since leaving it alone probably won't help. But seems likely the experiment and Eriko will take up a lot of his concentration.

Would be nice to have a bit of backstory with the suicide tales. Since without them you can only feel a bit concerned about her favorites....Maybe she had a good reason to be drawn to them. Plus I'm sure some like those tragic things, personally I'm all for living so probably wouldn't be into those kinds of books.

Every time I scroll up the page that frog picture gives me the creeps.

@FlareKnight: I believe Kazuki will be really caught up with Eriko that he won't be able to think of patching things up with Asuka... at least until his current issues with Eriko has been resolved.

We'll see if things will go well for Kai and Mao in the next episode :3 I'm not sure if we'll get to see some "history" or background as to how Yuumi came to like those stories... but that will be good to add I think.

Well not too bad an episode. Certainly those frogs are really weird and should vanish into a black hole. Of course then we'd have the girls mourning the deaths and starting some weird search party to find them.

I guess caling for a continuation of the experiment is the only way Kazuki can think of approaching Eriko. Hopefully they can grow more beyond simply that. Of course will come to whether she agrees which she probably will. Hopefully as well we can get Kazuki and Asuka to patch some things up. Though his continuing the 'experiment' might make that a rough area.

Mao and Kai's date did have some awkwardness. But she is trying to get into it which takes time. While I played some music never did have a great ear for picking up how well people are playing. Hopefully Mao has the ability to pick things up and fit into it.

Was also slightly concerned by all the suicide love stories. Don't suppose she has considered a result where people don't end up dead heh...

@Mentar: LOL. I think I'm gonna give both Kazuki and Eriko some bitchslapping when that happens :p

@hashihime: I also think that gesture of Mao of asking Kai to let her hear his sax playing is her way of saying "[Unlike that bastard teacher] I like your music and your passion for it" :) I'm just looking forward for whatever happens, without disregarding possible twists that might happen :3

and you are like the first person I know who appreciated the frogs in the show xD

@kazumaXX: this might really seem a boring episode, but I believe it's one of the better episodes of KimiKiss which marks quite some developments in the relationships between the characters.

Then again it might depend on one's tolerance for these no-action and purely talk episodes... :3

Actually, I think there might have been a hint there that Mao will come to like Kai's music, since she did say something about liking a CD that turned out to have one of his favorite sax players on it. But there was certainly plenty of awkwardness there, as would be natural on a first date, especially one with a laconic jazz-otaku like Kai.

By the way, unlike just about everyone else, I'm enjoying the girls with their froggies, up to a point. I don't see it as yuri, but as an adult-emulating game. Whereas some other bits of comedy have seemed childish and interruptive to me.
