Shugo Chara Volume 5 “Teaser”
Only a few days away before Shugo Chara volume 5 gets released… and I wonder how many of you are making the countdown for this :p I happened to read chapter 21 of the manga, which will most likely be included in this upcoming volume. And just to share some tidbits about this… It’s not really spoilerish, but might just feed the poor souls hungry for more Amuto (Amu x Ikuto) >3
Tadase looking more GAY than ever o__O
One fine day, Amu goes on a date with Prince Tadase, and it looks like she’s still head over heels over the prince orz.

Due to some unexpected circumstances (I’d call it fate 
), Amu gets accompanied by Ikuto who flares up the supposedly “date” scene. After all those smutty moves Ikuto made in the past chapters, Amu still thinks that he’s just teasing her. Ikuto tells her the reason why he can’t leave her in peace is because he’s actually interested in her… :3 (but of course he makes it seem like he’s teasing her again)
KYAA~ Tadase-kun, don’t look~!
Amu goes all tsuntsun which makes them fall into this position X3 And Tadase arrives just in time to witness this.
I’m gonna end up eating both your favorite vanilla ice cream and Amu, Tadase~
Ikuto gets the first dibs on the ice creAMU and Amu joins in the fun~ (because it’s gonna go off-balance, they say :P) Too bad this ends up in a cat chase between Tadase and Ikuto… no more fun >3< I’m not gonna say anything about that ‘onii-tan’ stuff Ikuto is referring to first… just to keep this post not so spoilerish :3
The Shugo Chara pouch was only given to Amu in this chapter, btw, by that new Guardian who seems to have been sent by the EASTER to find out the secret of the Seiyo Guardians.
In relation to the major revelations in volume 4 as mentioned by Hinano, particularly the egg-switch, looks like Utau still has Daiya in her hands by the end of chapter 22. And I think it will take an EPIC battle between Utau and Amu before they get to have their respective eggs back. If the volume 5 ends with chapter 22, it’s going to be one MAJOR CLIFFHANGER x__X
The Egg of Our Hearts book by the First King continues to be a key factor in the plot development of the story, where the ripped pages is still much of a mystery, which Ikuto wants to find out himself.
In chapter 22, we see more of the book, which states that there are times when the egg of one’s heart ends up being lost, and wanders around in search for its owner. Amu’s 4th Shugo Chara Daiya seems like this lost little egg, who I really hope will reunite with Amu soon >x<
I’m sure Hinano will post more about the juicy bits in volume 5, so I’m keeping quiet about the other revelations first :3

I’ve never read Shugo Chara, or anything by Peach Pit for that matter. I’ve seen two or three episodes of Zombie Loan and I have to say, man that guy, that guy licking the ice cream cone looks so much like Shite (that was his name, right?) Granted, he does look pretty sexy doing it.
Maybe, just maybe, I’ll go watch Shugo Chara, see him lick ice cream cones…animated! ^^
I can’t wait for the next volue. >.

btw, i agree that tadase is becoming and looking even more gay!!! i don’t think that amu is head over heels in love with him though. i think she’s just infatuated with the “princely” image, kind of like how she also wants to be a nice girl. i think amu is attracted to ikuto, she just doesn’t know it yet!XD
ikuto’s dark aura probably draws amu to him because she can also sense that there’s a light underneath that darkness? she probably senses his loneliness too. i think ikuto is attracted to amu’s bright aura, kinda like opposites attract? hehehe^_^
Don’t worry the day it comes out I’m running to Kinokuniya, now that’s it’s a HOP STEP AND JUMP away from where I work ;D

I think Ikuto has the same voice actor as Shito (ZL) as well. lol wth did that ice cream scene come from!?

amu wears goth clothes for normal wear but when she transforms she becomes all frilly and sakura cardcaptor-like:p when utau transforms she’s still the ultimate goth princess villain^_^
It’s not that he looks gay, it’s that he looks like a GIRL. And is running like a GIRL. Which is not a bad thing if you ARE one. I can’t believe Peach Pit isn’t doing this on purpose.
Is Tadase actually interested in Amu herself now or is he still just trying to get at one of her charas?

I love ikuto X Amu cant wait for vol 5..please someone has to definitely scan this please!!!(of course when it comes out)..too bad only two vols have been translated

not sure if they’ll reach this chapter with the ice-cream licking though. I sure am looking forward to more hawt Ikuto scenes :3 I haven’t watched Zombie Loan yet, but there are some similarities in their appearance.
@beingmeyuki: I also think that Amu is really attracted with Ikuto. She’s drawn to him and is intrigued by his character, and wants to know who he really is (especially when she felt some loneliness in his violin playing).
I’d think Ikuto is drawn to Amu’s strong character, and her tsundere-ness. He really likes how she’s so easy to tease

@Totali: that scene came from Peach-Pit’s naughty mind :p And, Shito seems to have a different seiyuu than Ikuto.
@apex: I’m not quite sure if Tadase has romantic feelings for Amu. He seems to be showing his usual prince charming self with the gentlemanliness. And I’m not sure if he was jealous when he saw Ikuto x Amu looking THAT way, or he was angry that he was harassing Amu.

from my meager knowledge of japanese, i managed to read from the scans “onii-tan” the story of which i just recently found out about^_^ i can also read vanilla and amu, which could be ikuto teasingtadase about devouring both the vanilla ice cream and amu, LOL! hence tadase’s horrified expressionXD i can make up a lot of tamago in the egg scans, but i have a hard time reading the kanji@_@
did peach-pitt purposely portray tadase to be so gay-looking so ikuto can luk even hotter and more manly in comparison? the difference is really so HUGE!!! of course i’d go for ikuto^_^

haha, Tadase looks even more girly than Amu! No wonder he’s Amu’s ideal, she wants to be girly like him!XD Ikuto on the other hand is a way different story. He’s so HAWT he’s the only one who manages to fluster Amu totally and he’s enjoying doing so. Be still Amu’s heart!^_^
about reading kanji, i can only read it if it has hiragana^^; that’s how meager my knowledge of japanese is… but i’m gonna study it seriously when i have time… soon, hopefully…

and about kanji… we all start with reading with the helpful furiganas (the hiragana helpers :3). just don’t pressure yourself too much in learning the language… you have to learn and enjoy it :3

amu as a natural playgirl, hmm… i guess she’s just unaware of her appeal. she can attract the older guy – ikuto, same age – tadase and the younger kairi. i wonder who else will fall for our heroine…

it’s a simple tale or romance, with twin brothers dealing with finding their own identity as well. a little bittersweet because of some tragic events, but not without a purpose. It’s a realistic and “clean” drama we rarely see nowadays.
@usagijen: too bad i can’t find any scans on it. i really want to read it. the story sounds really interesting:)
