@Totali: haha... "cute little brother", you're learning from the ways of Kouichi! :P

I actually find Eriko's ignorance and lack of common sense fun and moe, when she's not all cold, like the experiment scene xD I'm looking forward to the development of her character... how she gets to have more emotions :3

@FlareKnight: I'm just glad Kazuki decided to make the first move in patching things up... that's like one of the few things he did right in this episode.

I actually prefer studying alone as well, same with doing other projects. But then there are times in which I resort to group studying, if I feel the need for it, or the urge to help my fellow classmates~ :p I just didn't like the insult she blurted out, coz that was really a blunt and tactless remark. You're right on the mark about emotions being the key factor to Eriko's development, since she's still devoid of it up until now...

Mao clearly had the abilities, that's why she can get in the top 10 or 15(?) in that rehab stage! I'm just glad to see that she recovered from her studying dilemma, no matter how unreasonable her past decisions seemed like. If I experienced the same thing as your dad (given the fact that I studied really hard and still failed), I probably would've done the same thing. I see myself getting depressed over it a few days... but then realize that it might not be meant to be, so I'll move on with my life and go into another career. But not ever abandon studies and my future, like what Mao did in the past.

The look on Mao's face in the end can be interpreted in many ways... and we'll see how the next episode will fare to ascertain what that really meant.

Well knew about association as a study system. But never used it myself. I follow the simple plan of stuffing it all into my head and hoping it sticks :).

And looks like I was right usagijen about Kazuki patching things up with Asuka :). Gotta love multi-tasking. Of course will take some time to get further than just practicing like him noticing her in that way.

Was a bit confused on why he'd be apologizing. Looks like Eriko felt the same asking him why. Not sure if it was Kazuki or simply Asuka who got her to give an effort again. I do understand Eriko not wanting to study with them all. I'm more comfortable working on my own.

Kazuki...he'll need to keep working. He made a good leap to restart the experiment and talk with Asuka. But he's got a long way to go. Needs to get things past being simply an experiment. Was something watching her try to trying to understand things. Like why her heart wasn't racing. Emotions are going to be the key in all of this.

Mao just giving up like that was a surprise. I mean it's hard when you fail, but it wasn't even her fault. Of course something similar happened to my dad years ago. Not getting ill, but not passing at a first try for law school and never quite getting back there. Nice that Mao is going to get moving again. Is a bit frightening that she can be top 10 and in rehab....

The frogs just keep on coming....But anyways Mao at the end of the episode was interesting. Whether she feels a bit envious that her own love life isn't going well or that Kouichi is moving away from her.
