Shugo Chara Goes DBZ Fusion o_O
BEWARE of SPOILERRS.
I have been a regular lurker in the Shugo Chara 2ch thread(s) as of late, looking forward to spoilers regarding chapter 23 (which came out in Nakayoshi’s December issue, released last November 2) because chapter 22 was such a cliffhanger… and I’m dying to know what happens to Daiya >__<''' Sadly, the Shugo Chara manga community in 2ch isn't as active as those with other mangas, where people post spoilers of the latest chapters, even before the actual release of the manga phonebook where it's serialized ^^;;
My lurking efforts, however, did not go unrewarded, because someone graciously posted... two "shots" of pages from Chapter 23, showing us some new Shugo Chara moves, with one oddly similar to the DBZ Fusion Dance o__O
By Your Powers Combined… (what next?) o__O?
I didn’t mention it in my Volume 5 teaser post, but I guess I’ll mention about Tadase’s GAYYY flurry Chara-Nari. Amu’s Humpty Lock allows Tadase to Chara-Nari in the last chapter… with all the lace and frills, that Peach Pit is certainly doing on purpose :p

Bitchy transfer student teams up with Amu! And once again, I have no idea what happened! \o/
Speaking of Fusion stuff, what Seiryuu from the Shugo Chara Animesuki forum recently mentioned, about the possibility of the Embryo materializing from the Chara-fusion of Amu’s eggs (including Daiya), got me into thinking of the likeliness of this happening. These combo moves shown in chapter 23 might just be pointing to that direction…
Once Amu gets hold of Daiya, she can certainly be considered the Jack of all Trades since she has completed the egg card suits! And something BIG might just happen… which, coupled with the unlocking of Amu’s Humpty Lock with Ikuto’s Dumpty Key (which might happen once Amu gets to realize her feelings for him), might just bring about the birth of the Embryo.
Shugo Chara volume 5 on sale tomorrow!! I wonder when my order will arrive… >__<'''

I totally laughed at the DBZ reference. Man, Rima is the queen of FUSION. She did it with KusuKusu, and now Amu? wow.. she’s on a roll!.. i wonder if they had a little dance to go along with it >.

So I went to Kinokuniya today - no Shugo Chara
I got Sumomomomomo Vol 8 and Naruto vol..30whatever’s the most recent one. I guess I’ll try again next Monday or something :S

just when i thought you couldn’t get any frillier that Amu’s amulet spade, peach pitt proves me wrong. Tadase wins hands down with the frills and ribbons! somehow he looks like a prince in distress that needs rescuing rather than a prince who recues the damsel in distress.
back to Amu, the merging of all eggs is an interesting theory. considering that the prophecy was only supposed to be the joker with three eggs, then 3 becomes 4.
since Dia started out as an X egg, it could be a way of bridging the distance between closer between Amu and Ikuto. sort of like a dream that you didn’t realize you wanted until it was lost. Amu can still get Dia back just as Ikuto’s yoru can become purified thru Amu’s humpty lock. Though i kinda like yoru the way he is coz he’s very much part of who Ikuto is^_^

it’s great if this incident with Daiya will indeed bring Ikuto and Amu closer together… though Amu hasn’t really “lost” Ikuto at this point. Not yet, at least. He’s still having inner struggles, which might just lead into something Princess Tutu like. I don’t really think Yoru’s such an evil Shugo Chara, he just doesn’t have much sympathy and enjoys everything he does. but not necessarily cruel :3 Yoru <333

Yoru purified? Isn’t Yoru normal, unlike Dia which is an X Shugo Chara or am I missing something?

anyways…..
tadase confesses that he is in love with amu. this disturbs ikuto. shortly after, amu asks ikuto if he has anyone that he loves. ikuto say that he is in love with her, but sadly, amu doesn’t believe him…
okay, these spoilers are from wikipedia, so i really don’t know id they are right or not….but i’m believing in them!
I was thinking maybe the Embryo would end up being something like, two combined dreams~. So that if Ikuto and Amu really fall in love, their dreams of being with eachother would intertwine and create some lovey-dovey Embryo~
This is all out of pure Amuto hope. Hope, but we all know they’re gonna be in love.
[spoiler] Ikuto and Amu have a REALLY close moment in… i think its chapter 28… when Amu finds Ikuto in her bed (yoru braught him there, he was hurt) and Amu shoves him off to get into bed herself, when Tadase comes and (ahem) confesses his love to her, while Ikuto hides in a wardrobe
then, he comes out and Amu gets in bed again, then Ikuto joins her and they start talking and at the end of the conversation Amu asks “Is there anyone you love?” and Ikuto says “Its you.” but Amu takes it as a joke at first.

When I first saw the tadase transformation pic I was like holy crap!! Tadase has a twin sister but then i found out it was Tadase just being his gay/girly self.
