On a more serious note, at last we can say the series is going somewhere.

as for Kai and Mao, I want to see how they’re going to patch things up after what happened in this episode. The Kouichi x Mao pairing seems odd at this point, but I’ll reserve my judgments about that as I get to see more episodes.

@T_I: twists wouldn’t hurt, because that will really spice things up here. Kouichi x Yuumi might seem boring, but I like them… their relationship just need a little spicing up. I’m open to partner swap possibilities nonetheless, so long as it’s for the better.

@FlareKnight: This episode got me thinking that Kai probably deserves someone better, if Mao can’t return his feelings. So who knows, Kai might just end up with the ojousama~ hehe

Lot of fun though with Kazuki x Eriko. Do like the steps he’s taking. Showing some real confidence and proving he’s more than just some quiet guy that can’t talk to her. Pointing out that her sense of taste is scary :). Looking forward to that taste testing challenge.

Mao is an odd situation. Frankly I don’t think she was ever all that out for a relationship. I mean earlier it was brought up how her love life would be important since she’s a third year. She first approached Kai because he was hard to approach. Really think she just wanted to be his friend.

He is the one who asked her out to that date and then he is the one again who gave her that kiss. Just not sure she has been all that invested into this relationship. Still think she will end up with Kouichi unless something drastic happens.

Thanks for the info on Mitsuki. Will be interesting how much of a role she plays and who she might get together with or if she is stuck with that finacee. Maybe if things fall apart with Kai x Mao he might move in her direction.

though, I’m not sure how much it will help characters like Kouichi and Yuumi, which frankly are more boring than still water

Kai x Mao is my next fave couple. I sure hope it won’t be Mao x Kouichi… it just seems odd, but that’s just me.
