The end result? Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3 =P

Released on PS2 by Koei, this RPG otome game features Japanese Historical figures such as: Minamoto no Yoshitsune, Musashibo Benkei, Taira no Atsumori, and Kajiwara Kagetoki, all in its bishiefied glory. And now the anime is only a few weeks away~ (December 28) too bad it’s just an anime special =__=

The story is set in ancient Japan, where Nozomi (the heroine), together with her childhood friends Masaomi and Yuzuru find themselves caught in the midst of the Taira(Heike)-Minamoto(Genji) war, where the tyrant Taira no Kiyomori reigns over the land of Kyou. Nozomi, summoned by the Hakuryuu to be his miko, is to become the saving grace for this land, as she fights alongside Genji and save the friends she lost in battle, as she gains the power to cross time.

HaruToki3 is clearly superior over its predecessors, as attested by fans and the number of sequels it had (Unmei no Labyrinth and Izayoiki). Visuals alone, HaruToki3 wins hands down. Aside from that, we also have the awesome Nozomi as the heroine, as opposed to Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 1’s annoying Akane. HaruToki3 deserves to be animated, and it deserves not only an episode special, but a full-length series! 8D Here’s to hoping the episode special will spawn a series >__<

Hinoe is the sexiest guy in the game (the original HaruToki3, otherwise that title would go to Taira no Tomomori, the source of smut in HaruToki3 Izayoiki), IMO, but the anime’s character design doesn’t quite do him justice…

My other qualm about this is what they can cover in one single episode special o__O Perhaps it’ll be just an introduction to the world of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3~ Oh well, I’m looking forward to this anime nonetheless. Need more bishies~ :3

And… by the time of this writing, there have already been announcements regarding the upcoming HaruToki 4 game, slated to be released this coming March on PS2. As much as I want to post the pic, the scanner has specifically instructed not to. So, you guys can just visit this site instead :3 First impression: it looks AWESOME! we have a kickass heroine yet again, and a whole new mythical world~ lol.
