Just When I Thought I Was Destined to Have a DS…
…I get a Wii instead! w00t?
Experiencing a whole new world of gaming with dual screens and touch screens.
The DS Destiny was just something I made myself to believe, an excuse to splurge my cash, but not without a basis. It so happens that the release of the Ookiku Furikabutte game for the DS falls on my birthday, and so I thought that this might be my calling to finally get a DS, on top of some other “signs” – plenty of otome games being released (or soon to be released) on this console: Tokimemo Girl’s Side 1st Love, the very first otome game I bought and played (PS2 version), there’s also the second installment to the Tokimemo GS Series, Tokimemo Girl’s Side 2nd Season, DUEL LOVE (though I’m not too keen about this, despite having Hisaya Nakajo as its character designer), Love Revo, and Vitamin X, among others. There’s also the plethora of cutesy little games being released in the past years, as well as the Japanese dictionary—temptations which I fought with the whole-year round, because I already bought a PSP last Christmas.
But then just last week, my brother told me that a friend of his is selling the Wii she won from some raffle, for about $220 USD. It’s the Japanese modded version, which also comes with a 220 adapter. The current price range of this in the country is about $320-$420 USD, so I thought it was quite a good deal. The US version is more expensive, by about $100, but I prefer my Wii and games in Japanese =P
And so there goes my DS Lite budget~ lol. So much for destiny… it’s like the Wii chased after me instead, slapping an offer I can’t resist, right on my face ^^;;;
Oh, and I played one round of the Bleach: Shattered Blade last Sunday, and boy did it make my arm muscles ache, up until now =___= I think that goes to show how much I lack in terms of physical activities.

I got a Wii a couple of weeks ago too. It can be very, very tiring playing some of the games if you really get into it lol

The price of a DS here is approximately what I paid for my Wii. 220 dollars, which comes with the *cough* R4DS and a micro SD *cough*
i thought the ad for wii was awesome! and yeah hu wouldn’t want a wii? ur so lucky to get one at a bargain @usagijen! it’s like hitting 2 birds with one stone. you get to burn some calories hacking away at enemies while having fun:)
