[...] decided to provide a sneak preview for this show as early as now. I’ve already done this for Kurenai, and Junjou Romantica, so why not do this for my most anticipated anime of the season, right? [...]

though not the touching scenes

Yes, I know, that was taken out of context, but I laughed at that. Especially because KnJ's more well-known for its... "touching" scenes than anything. You actually read the manga? :O I'm shocked.

I thought "Kurenai" could very well be used in the context of Murasaki, since, y'know, the colour is a contrast to white's innocence, and then there's the whole menstruation/loss of virginity thing that could be used if we're talking symbols. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it. :x

@kazumaXX: but this isn't really a "loli show", the fanservicey innuendo kind, if that's what you were thinking. This is just, the sweet heartwarming kind~ just like Aishiteruze Baby.
as for Spice & Wolf, I watched two episodes and found it to be a solid show, though the kind of series I'd rather marathon than anticipate each week.

@Owen S: I also noticed the KnJ similarities, though not the touching scenes but the naughty bits (which I showed here) lol.

Oh, and "Kurenai" is the lead guy Shinkurou's last name, but I think there's still a deeper meaning behind this. It's not really an odd title, once you see the glimpse of the manga and how bloody and dark it can be (though of course, not the Shigurui level x__X).

I am sold on this, since that picture of Murasaki hugging a tearful Shinkurou gives off amazing KnJ-sque vibes in a moment parallel with a younger Rin and Reiji.

I found Aishiteruze Baby to be too awesome for words, too. It should be nice to have a story where the loli character isn't a token role, played out for fanservice, or anything like that for once.

This post title was hilarious, though. "Now I Am SOLD" would be best finished as a sentence with "To the lolicon at the back!", but only because it seemed apt, considering one of the many target audiences of this story. "Crimson" for a title seems rather bit odd, in any case...
