Boy is that such a long title… that’s gonna be the first and last I’m gonna use the complete title of KimiAru >_>”’
KimiAru is one of the shows I’ve been “silently” looking forward to in the Winter 2008 lineup, amused as I am when I read the manga a few months back. The anime adaptation does not disappoint. It manages to be amusing despite its random craziness, and I think knowing nothing about Hayate no Gotoku, with which this show is highly compared to, adds to that overall enjoyment. With the rather bold themes presented in the show, all for the sake of fanservice for the guys, I found a saving grace in Ren, whose quirky expressions and antics make me go LOL most of the time, thanks to his seiyuu SekiTomo who fits his role perfectly.
The manga is toned-down in most aspects, and with the 2 chapters I read, I have yet to see a lesbo yuri-esque sister-loving Shinra-sama o___O The lesbo yuri-esque Shinra-sama was only shown in chapter 3. It also has extra LOL moments, which could’ve been an amusing watch. I was already imagining this scene with Ren professing to being a siscon, with SekiTomo’s voice, a bit disappointed to find out that it wasn’t in the anime =/
For the benefit of those who want to see what I’m talking about, here goes my deep frying~ :3
DISCLAIMER: Unlike my usual deep frying posts, this one is just meant to add some humor spice to what has been shown in the anime. I know that both the anime and manga are adaptations of the H-game, which I don’t have a single intention of playing, so I wouldn’t know which among these two is more faithful to its predecessor

Got my Newtype magazine a few days ago, and decided to share the spoiler tidbits provided. So here I am, the bunny chef, to serve you the spoiler platter for KimiKiss #15-17 :3
The mini summaries seem to be Mao-centric, as nothing much was said about the other characters (and couplings) in the show.
Prepare to be spoiled~!

Allow me to rant, as a prelude to this post. Feel free to skip this if you want.
So my computer suddenly went all tsuntsun and kept on restarting. I thought it just needed a little rest so I turned it off for a little while, about two hours, but alas, the problem still persisted. I suspected there was something wrong with my power supply, but thankfully, it was simply an MS OS crap error which I wasn’t able to find out because I can’t even enter Windows to diagnose the problem. I had to reinstall Windows and other programs I need again though, due to not relying on the power of Ghosts. So there, goodbye wasted hours for download, on the busiest day of the week. I still have to download KimiKiss, Persona, Shigofumi, True Tears and KimiAru! sigh… >_< In times like this I really wish I had a faster broadband... =__=
If this happens again, I think I'm really gonna go Linux, particularly Ubuntu, where I can have a sip of WinE instead of dealing with a crappy OS, and feel the power of Compiz Fusion.
*end of rant*
I was saving this post for later, but since I am still pre-occupied with other concerns at the moment, I guess it won’t hurt to opt for this instead :3

teaser pic, for less casualties.
The title should be enough hint that this has something to do with another ab(d)onimable man I posted about the other day. Curious to see the entirety of the picture? Then read on.
WARNING: Do not proceed if you don’t want your image of the GAR Kazuma to be tarnished

Love is like a balloon.. when you push your relationship with someone forward it is like blowing up the balloon. If you blow too hard and too fast, the balloon pops and likewise the relationship breaks. But if you take things slowly and let the balloon of love stretch on its own, it grows into a huge, prosperous balloon, full of love. Also, if you don’t push the relationship at all, or at least hold it at the same level it was at, the air will flow out of the balloon, deflating it, and your love will shrivel up and become flat & lifeless. So when you are in love, push the relationship forward slowly and gently and the balloon will grow comfortably into a strong, immense love.

…too much love and you’ll burst like a balloon, too less of it and you’ll wither and won’t be able to fly. Do note that love comes in different forms, not just the romantic kind. –an anonymous rabbit

I guess this was shown for the sake of Asuka fans (like me), who sees the unlikelihood of this happening (with Kazuki) throughout the series =/
So everything went all smooth, and Kouchi especially, made up for his lack of balls in the past 12 episodes! Yuumi’s sudden aggressiveness must have gotten him into thinking that he should be THE MAN for that job, and not the other way around like last time.

I might have dropped blogging Suteki Tantei Labyrinth, but this amusing stuff in episode 14 was just too good to pass up on
Beneath the clothing mask of Butler Seiran lies an ab(d)onimable identity that will make you cringe in horror (or amusement, for some)…

This caught my eye while I was rummaging through the pile of KimiKiss game videos in youtube. Haruhiism invades KimiKiss!! This is one amazing Haruhi rendition of the KimiKiss Opening, with complete animation and all those effects in the original opening sequence. The new opening sequence of KimiKiss in episode 13 was amazing, but [...]

My health, and my internet wasn’t cooperating with me the past few days, so this post got even more delayed than it already is… x__x’’’
Last November, I published a KimiKiss Deep Frying post, highlighting the lack of EroKawaii-ness as one of the main reasons why many game fans disliked the anime adaptation. A few weeks back, I visited 2ch, to check out the discussions and KimiKiss hate threads that abound, only to realize the falsity of my previous claims, which was simply based on what I’ve seen in the novels and the manga.
Looking at the sentiments made by fans in the discussion threads, I found a number of reasons justifying the fan’s sentiments regarding the anime, excluding the erokawaii factor which only the manga and the novel counterparts had. The game is really pure and innocent, from what I’ve seen in the game videos (from youtube).
To highlight the sentiments of fans regarding the changes made in the anime…

I’m all hyper today because I just got my package with the latest KnS Ignition novel, volume 5!! ^___________^ Thank you hmv for the speedy delivery~ <3 I bought some other stuff which delayed the shipping of my order, but it only took 2-3 days delivery. It's like I paid for Amazon JP’s economy shipping (which is no longer available for international orders, btw) but I get the express shipping instead! :DDD Minus the DHL bullcrap as well. So here goes another online shop I’m gonna frequent, aside from yesasia. I only order through Amazon JP when I have friends or officemates in Japan to whom I can send my packages. Err, sorry, I got carried away… >__>

Black vs White Kazuma~ otanoshimi~~~
As the title suggests, this is merely a “teaser” to the latest Ignition volume, which I still haven’t read. Yes, I know I’m getting excited over the wrong thing, because I’m supposed to be doing my write-up on Ignition volume 4 (with the Ayano matchmaking session) just like how I got excited over the upcoming 2008 Spring Season (with quite a number of shows catering to fangirls) instead of the 2008 Winter Season… >__>
But fret not because I shall do my best and finish that Ignition 04 post as soon as possible (just don’t expect too much, ok?). I’m gonna re-read Ignition volume 4 again before I jump to this volume, so I can go finish this backlog of mine. Hopefully, I won’t get tempted to go read volume 5 ahead, especially as I see the Black vs Kazuma picture, as well as *ahem* this *ahem*
