(Here goes another round of ‘fillers’ as I finish off the rest of my posts… Really need to focus >_<''')
Anyone still remember Fushigi Yuugi? The shoujo craze more than a decade back, loaded with a heap of bishounens, most of whom unfortunately fall head over heels for the whiny heroine Miaka. Well FY is back, bringing with it a chance to fulfill the very fangirl’s wish of the Suzaku no Miko! Having a PS2 is a requirement however, since the upcoming FY game is slated to be released on this console, this coming May 29, 2008.
You’ll be playing as Madoka Ootori, the “Miaka” in this game, interact with the characters, like any visual novel / renai adventure otome games. She reminds me of Alice from Alice 19th.

So what do the stars of fate say about the future of Amu x Ikuto?! Just the mention of that made me all giddy with glee
Ok, so allow me to fangirl as all heavens broke loose when I got to see this mini preview of the next Shugo Chara chapter coming out in Nakayoshi, which is like less than a week away from being released! 8D I owe a big thanks to ShiningNinja for the heads up on this one. Now Amu x Ikuto fans can finally have something _solid_ to look forward to! I know a certain fangirl will be happy to hear this
I managed to catch up with Persona this week, and wow, I’m hooked! This show has now escalated as one of my fave Winter offerings, side by side True Tears, both of which are instrumental to thawing my Winter’s block.
True Tears is shaping up to become one of the best dramas I’ve seen, with its godly animation, and great execution. It’s True Tears-rific. It’s like my forsaken dramas of the past, done right. The stereotype characters I supposedly hate are still there, the weak indecisive characters, but now I’m able to empathize with them. I don’t know if I owe that to the show itself, the presence of moe Noe, who makes the show less emo and more fun and whimsical, and the H&C-esque monologues, or is it because of my own maturity… hmm~ Nevertheless, I have become an avid Noe x Shin supporter after watching episode 8! I am so gonna cry if they won’t end up together ;___;
Both Persona and True Tears grew to become shows close to my heart now, cheesy as that might sound. Both these shows leave me hanging at the edge of my seat after the end of each episode, and make me emo. My Persona-l emoness is of the positive happy sentimental light, whilst True Tears is of the bittersweet heart-wrenching kind. In terms of Ai and Hiromi’s circumstances, that is, because Noe and Shinichirou’s development make me all giddy happy (and I hope it stays that way >_<)
I’ll delve more on Persona in this post, and save up my thoughts on True Tears in another post, if my True Tears-rific mode still hasn’t gone down by then. Many fanboys have already been praising this show, so I’m also thinking if I’ll be able to contribute something worthy o_o I feel like shipping Shin x Noe, but I was a bit saddened by the spoilers… *rids herself of evil thoughts* Hope I’ll be able to blog both these shows from now on =)
I feel a little more inclined to blog Persona, considering the lack of love its getting from bloggers, and my ‘innate ability’ to fangirl over the show

otsukaresama deshite~ to all who took JLPT
Finally, after months of anticipation, the JLPT results are out. People in Japan already got them on the first week of February, but other countries like ours had to wait just a little bit more for the results. And… *drumroll*

Until I get my copy of this Asuka issue, please bear with this puny pic lol
Yes! DNAngel is finally on the roll again, after years of hiatus! 8D This is one HUGE celebratory comeback, hence we have a 123-page worth of DNAngel manga goodness for its latest installment. But wait there’s more~! The latest Asuka magazine also came with an Illustrations book containing 20 yummy Yukiru Sugisaki DNAngel illustrations, for its furoku freebie! So yeah, I am sold~~~ I now had this delivered to my officemate who’ll be coming back by the end of February
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this comeback, after Hinano (scroll down to the end of the post xD) mentioned it in brief, about a month ago. Now the wait is over~!
I learned from the hamster last Saturday that A. oryzae plushies were being sold already. So off I dashed to the neighborhood Animate shop to get me one of these cute things.
Animate is having a one month Moyashimon fair. Plushies aside, there are also other Moyashimon merchandise for sale, such as notebooks, stickers, CD’s and [...]

The cheerful Asuka and Mao of the game, in contrast to their anime emo selves =/
If I were to voice out my sentiments regarding episode 17, I’ll just end up ranting about the revival of Mao’s indecisiveness a.k.a bitchiness, as well as Asuka’s selfishness. Whilst the latter is arguably justifiable, because of our innate selfish human nature (cliche of a justification this might be regarding flawed actions of characters), I expected more from Asuka =/ The liberties the anime took in terms of adding flaws to Asuka’s strong (and thought-to-be almost flawless) character, shows nothing else but a direction in favor of Eriko x Kazuki. Now ridden with guilt, Asuka will most likely hope that Eriko and Kazuki’s relationship won’t end up in ruins because of what she has done. *sigh*
So instead of ranting any further, I decided to try something different, for the sake of relieving myself of these negative energies brimming in me. Let’s pause for a while, take a break from emo-ing, and instead, sing some hearty songs attune with the melodies of the KimiKiss web of relationships.
UPDATE: Yes, I’m such a slow poke that I already watched episode 18 before I got to finish this original post for episode 17, so I decided to do a combi-post instead. I still have mixed feelings for episode 18. I’m happy that Asuka decided to make-up for what she’s done, but then again it just confirms my hunch regarding the now guilt-ridden Asuka. We’ll see more of Eriko’s past from now on, and I think both Kazuki and Asuka will be able to sympathize with her more, the moment they find out about her family background. Oh man… now that I think about it, my childhood past is just like Eriko’s o__O (up to a certain extent…) Nuu… I should remain loyal to the Asuka fanclub >_<
(and due to my procrastination, KimiKiss episode 19 is gonna hit the airwaves any time now too >_>)

How sad it is that there’s not even a mention of Yuumi in these spoilers… o__O
Whew~ Finally got this out. Sorry to have kept you guys waiting D:
Beware of spoilers ok? Just a word of warning, if the post title itself isn’t enough. Seeing the highlights of episodes 19-22, it seems that the roulette of love continues to roll, especially in the Mao x Kouichi x Yuumi x Kai love quadrilateral. We still don’t know who’s gonna end up with who, partly thanks to the lack of information regarding this quadrilateral from episode 21 onwards T_T
Due to the incessant demand(?) of fans, the spoilers highlighted the Asuka x Kazuki x Eriko, so I have no idea what developments will happen in the other love triangle (or quadrilateral), by the end of episode 22 >_>;;; evil Newtype!!! These spoilers already provide indicative information regarding how things will be cemented in the Asuki x Kazuki x Eriko triangle, so just beware~

I, along with my friend, whom we shall call Bernice, decided to add a spin to our Valentine’s and celebrate it like how a Japanese girl would. Instead of waiting for guys to give us chocolates and flowers during this day of hearts, we were the ones giving out some sweet tokens to the guys in our project.
