KimiKiss Platter-O-Spoiler (episodes 19-22)
How sad it is that there’s not even a mention of Yuumi in these spoilers… o__O
Whew~ Finally got this out. Sorry to have kept you guys waiting D:
Beware of spoilers ok? Just a word of warning, if the post title itself isn’t enough. Seeing the highlights of episodes 19-22, it seems that the roulette of love continues to roll, especially in the Mao x Kouichi x Yuumi x Kai love quadrilateral. We still don’t know who’s gonna end up with who, partly thanks to the lack of information regarding this quadrilateral from episode 21 onwards T_T
Due to the incessant demand(?) of fans, the spoilers highlighted the Asuka x Kazuki x Eriko, so I have no idea what developments will happen in the other love triangle (or quadrilateral), by the end of episode 22 >_>;;; evil Newtype!!! These spoilers already provide indicative information regarding how things will be cemented in the Asuki x Kazuki x Eriko triangle, so just beware~
Episode 19 – true heart
Preparations for the school festival starts, with the coming of the new semester in Kibina High. Kouichi is still confused as ever, doesn’t know how to act around Mao, now that he knows how she really feels for him. Kazuki continues to accompany Eriko in her “Why do people fall in love?” experiment, acting like her boyfriend. Until finally, Eriko comes to the conclusion, that “love can’t be borne from an experiment”.
Episode 20 – uncontrollable
Mao is still unable to control her emotions (and draw a line between her personal life and “work”, the shooting), and couldn’t concentrate in the filming with Kouichi. To Mao’s surprise, the person who gives her comfort at this time is no one else but Kai, with whom she already broke up with. Kazuki now realizes his true feelings for Eriko, and is determined to let her out of her [lonely] shell, despite having told by Eriko that the experiment is already over.
Episode 21 – cutting memory
After Eriko finds out how Kazuki feels for her, she once again goes out with him, making Kazuki happy as a lark (once again). On the other end of the spectrum is Asuka, who is hurt by the sight of the now reunited couple, despite having helped out intercede between the two before.
Episode 22 – time goes by
Asuka’s feelings for Kazuki grow as the days go by, and is especially affected by the current turn of events with Kazuki and Eriko, making her unable to concentrate in her club activities and the preparation for the school festival. Dim-witted/Slow Kazuki remains oblivious to Asuka’s strange behavior, but Eriko already knows why she’s acting that way.

Wow doesn’t look good for Asuka and Kazuki.
Mao, I gave up caring what she does. I wish she’d go away. 
Hmm, looks like my thoughts on the Kazuki x Eriko progression were a little off. I thought Eriko would stay on the sidelines a little and Asuka would try to work on Kazuki a little since Eriko didn’t seem to want to see him right now. I can’t help but feel that we are being set up for Eriko pushing Kazuki away and into Asuka’s arms. So Eriko may end up in her living room alone watching television again after all. I hope not… I hope she has a catharsis and lets the feelings we know she has grow for Kazuki. Poor Asuka deserves a good guy too.
I’ve been a Yuumi supporter since the beginning, but after a good look at character and plot development, I now think Kouichi x Mao is the most likely by series end. She could end up pushing him back to Yuumi. They are going to keep us guessing till the last epi.

Poor Kai. I hope he finds someone else who deserves him better. I dunno what to say about Mao anymore. Maybe I wouldn’t mind that much Mao x Kouichi IF Yuumi wasn’t in the picture. Poor Yuumi. I guess we’ll see what happens in this triangle.
Asuka x Kazuki. Go Asuka! I’m rooting for you.

@Jauken7: Eriko x Kazuki is pretty much set, especially with how things are going to turn out with episode 20. Some declaration of love by Kazuki, which already rids me of the initial qualms I had with this couple, both to my relief and dismay (asukaaa D:)
@Maceart: I can feel with you… ;____; I suggest reading the manga to help you recover from the Asuka heartbreak
@hazy: Poor Yuumi indeed… I’m afraid the turn of events and her little monologue in episode 19 is indicating a “solo/single/friendship route” =/ But mfft… now that both Mao and Kouichi are confused, they’ve really become meant for each other =__=
Really do feel for Asuka and wonder just how things are going to turn out. Did think Eriko was going to come in at the end to be the final pairing.
Seems like they will give Asuka her moment to at least confess. Also Eriko will probably get her chance to talk with Asuka and clear the air. Maybe Eriko will return the favour and give Asuka the encouragement needed to say what is needed.
Yeah I do feel for Yuumi. Just can’t see things going all that well for her.
After seeing ep 20, I’m glad to see the Kazuki x Eriko pairing looks like it is FINALLY getting started. I was afraid there was going to be a slight Asuka detour but Kazuki remained persistent as he should have. Kouichi x Yuumi appear to have as solid of a relationship as I first thought too; I sure hope so. Mao may not deserve Kai but he still cares a lot about her and showing it; maybe he will win her over after all. Poor Asuka, maybe if Hiragi isn’t doing anything… do ya think?
As an Asuka fan, I would’ve preferred an Asuka diversion for Kazuki ;___;
at this point, I’m just going to say that Asuka deserves someone better! T_T
Well, with Asuka’s feelings for Kazuki on the upswing, so I expect there to still be a minor Asuka diversion. I think she will end up kissing him at some point. Eriko will, of course, see it and retreat back into solitude fearing her worst nightmare has come true. Kazuki would be pissed at Asuka for causing it and he’ll have a rough time undoing the damage to his relationship with Eriko.
I like Asuka too and I would like to see her pair up with someone who will give her the attention she deserves. I’ve suggested Hiiragi because Shijou seems to be going ahead with the arranged marriage thing, which leaves him available… not that everyone HAS to be paired up though. It’ll be interesting to see how all this plays out.
@Jauken7: I also think there will be a little Asuka diversion, but it’s expected to end up bittersweet for my fave girl Asuka
Kai x Asuka would’ve been great, but sadly, the director had something else in mind =/
@AiShiteru: lol. you can’t find them coz they haven’t even aired yet! episode 21 is going to air this Sunday…
sigh.
After watching episode 21, it seems pretty clear the writers are going to do an end run to squish Mao x Koichi together by having poor Yuumi remove herself from the picture “for Koichi’s own good”- since she wants him to be happy, etc. All the Yuumi/Mao scenes seemed to be working pretty hard to make superbitch Mao-neechan seem saint-level gracious and considerate, and Yuumi super-guilty.
The nausea is almost enough to make me stop watching, but it’s like some terrible train wreck… I know it’s coming, but I just can’t look away.
*prepares to hate Kouichi*
