Shugo Chara Chapter 26 - Daiya Saga Ends. Moar Ikuto in the Next Chapter Pwwease~
This will just be a teaser of some sort, until I get to finish writing the summary for this chapter >_<;;;; I've been soo buried with work this week... rawr~! Yoshi! Finally finished the summary for this one ^^
We finally get to see Amu’s chara-nari with Daiya, who has now been reverted to the light~ I actually thought her old X-Daiya self looked way cooler, but her sparkling self is cuter 
Daiya’s costume looks like this JPOP superstar of some sort loool.
With no more Shugo Charas at her disposal, Utau admits defeat. She cries her heart out at the thought that all her hopes and dreams have now been left in shambles… and before it can get any more _emo_, Ami comes into the scene and fills it with _moe_~ 
I wasn’t able to mention it last time, but Ami met Nagihiko in the last chapter, who guided her to where Amu and the rest of the Guardians are. If you noticed, one Guardian was MIA during this entire Embryo battle 
Going back to the topic, Ami’s moeness was all it took for Utau to realize her pure / chlidhood dream of marrying Ikuto becoming a singer, for the sake of bringing joy to people. Not for anyone else’s sake but for herself 
Ikuto was happy that she found the true meaning behind her passion for singing, because this means she’ll get less clingy to him (finally! XD)
But we’re not halfway through the chapter, so it’s necessary for a little havoc to ensue first. With the now powerless Utau, Yukari takes her leave, set on accomplishing the Easter’s diabolical plan with the harvested X-eggs and Utau’s pre-recorded Black Diamond CD. Unexpectedly, the evil eggs hatch earlier than expected, and all hell breaks loose. The helicopter where Yukari is was shaken off balance, while some other X-eggs escape with their parachutes lol.
Amu, Utau and the rest of the Guardians team-up to save Yukari and the lost batsu-chara souls.
The eggs were purified, and one special egg emerges from the bunch, which Ikuto and Tadase thought to be the Almighty Embryo.
Daiya on the other hand bids Amu farewell, as she goes back to slumber, until the time Amu finally shines again. I really hope Ikuto will be one of the catalysts to that ;___; Now Ran, Miki and Suu are eagerly awaiting the [re]birth of Daiya~
Yukari starts anew, establishing a recording company of her own, together with Utau and Yuu (whose role has been reduced to a mere chore boy XD). This chapter mentions that Yuu is Yukari’s ex-BF, and I don’t recall that being said in the previous chapters. Not that it matters anyways. ^^;; Oh, and just a sidenote… I learned a new Japanese lingo here, 「バリ3」, Eru’s reply to Ran’s greeting. It can be roughly translated to “fine and dandy~”, and the 3 there is a metaphor to a good [3-bar] reception signal of a cellphone. Like a 3-bars worth of reception.
Amu and co. help out Yukari and Utau as they move in to their new office, though Utau wasn’t all delighted with this. She acts all tsun, but the truth is, she’s touched by Amu’s kindness. So yeah, Utau has also become a poser COOL and SPICY girl like Amu They have a little banter, which finally ended with Utau declaring that she won’t hand over Ikuto to Amu, and Amu retorting that she never thought about this at all. Ho-hum~ On the topic of Ikuto, it seems that he left by himself after what happened the other night, and whose present whereabouts is unknown. Even Utau wasn’t able to contact him, and he didn’t come home either. Utau then glares at Amu, suspecting that she kept him at her place lol. But sadly, Amu didn’t. Drats! How happy I would’ve been if Amu secretly kept him in his room indeed T__T In any case, I’m glad to see that Amu thought of Ikuto~ She actually felt something Ikuto-ish that’s bothering her, which was making her feel uneasy despite how things are now changing for the better, with Utau and the other Easter members now on the good side. I’m glad to see that Amu and Utau have become chums despite all that happened Utau might not have openly admitted to it, but I believe she has realized that she won’t win against Amu, both in love and Shugo Chara-ness.
The sad aftermath of this Easter battle is Kairi’s return to his previous school, having finished his “mission” in Seiyo Gakuen. Before bidding farewell, he declares his love for Amu (w00t! X3), and swears that he’ll go back once he becomes a man worthy of her love. He also declares rivalry against Tadase, and promises that he won’t lose against him. That’s cute, Kairi, but the real opponent for Amu’s love is no other than Ikuto
Ikuto’s the only Embryo member left, and we still have no idea about his plans. Here’s to hoping an Ikuto-centric chapter next time!

Wowza! I feel so stupid. I kept it on the search page for Shugo Chara all night, so I clicky on a random blog, then click “back”, see your post, and go all crazy!!

Oh yes. The end of the Daiya Arc. I wonder if we’ll see her again when she is “officially born” again?
I’m feeling sad that Kairi is going back to his hometown now, he was such a cool character ;3;. he was so brave and admireable the way he was like ” I love you, Hinamori Amu”. I’ll miss him. Ho hum… what are the chances that Nagihiko will become the new J chair…
I really hope that the the new arc in the April edition will feature more of Ikuto’s background. I mean, we saw how Tadase and Ikuto reached for the “shiny egg” this chapter, and Peach Pit does need to elaborate on his wish again.
Love the fact that Utau and Amu are seemingly getting along much better now ;3
That reminds me. Isn’t there supposed to be a one-shot of Shugo Chara in the next edition as well? I wonder what it would be about…

@Hinano: LOL! I used to get them from a secret source, before I got impatient and started subscribing to Nakayoshi two months ago. I think I’m gonna stop my subscription starting next month, since I’m not really excited for the other series in Nakayoshi except for Shugo Chara… and it’s eating up so much space in the house! If only we’re at a close proximity, I can give you the magazines, if only to free up more space

and yeah, we HAVE to see more of Ikuto’s background! It should be time to reveal his true wish(es).

I think they do in the anime. or at least, Amu has her date with Tadase that Ikuto crashes in the 18th episode, but that is my guess because the title is: “The Delightful and Embarrassed First Date!”

I’m excited for it! Except the preview art had Ran, Miki, and Suu drawn… a bit differently than Peach Pit’s normal style.
As for more Ikuto, I’m happy that the directors managed to include Black Lynx in episode 21 :3. I’m so biased. If its filler, i go BLAH, but if its Ikuto/ IkutoxAmu filler, i go YAY.
Oh a really off note, did you hear that the Shugo Chara Box set one is supposed to have a special CD drama of Ikuto? 8D;;. (I used my bad japanese to translate >>; so I don’t really trust myself)

@O.o: It’s not yet known if that egg is indeed the Embryo… they weren’t able to get that egg, which even places a big ? as to what that egg really was. I’m thinking the egg escaped yet again, same as last time with Tadase.
