Anime Blogging Collective, Untie!

I am tsuntsun desuu~!

I just came home from my trip, which is the reason for my blog inactivity, as well as my temporary detachment from the recent activities in the blogosphere. The current hot dorama topic spells ‘ABC’, and I’m not too happy with that, considering how I’m supposed to be part of this group.

I stay away from e-doramas as much as possible, because they’re nasty and ruins all kinds of fun. But since the current ABC issues involve not only its spearhead ‘leader’ Owen, but the rest of the members of the group, I felt compelled to say my stand about/against this, especially considering how I even made a post in defense of ABC (and Owen). How ideal of a group it is, and how un-nazi-esque or dictatorial it is. Or so I thought.

Let’s take a look at my so-called Owen/ABC defense post, and how I’m now regretting having poured my energies, all for the sake of defending a jerk. Allow me to facepalm on my own words, if you may. It’s a prerequisite that you read the related posts regarding this issue, particularly what happened to CJ and Shirukii, in order to understand what I’m talking about here.

…and even if others find him a jerk, his efforts for wanting to forge this blogging community, is admirable nonetheless. Do note that the ABC is not under dictatorial leadership; basically everyone in the group can be leaders…

-says me, a couple of months ago. After this WTFudge nazi move however, I think Owen just proved how he’s just a Hitler-like jerk after all.

…When Owen invited me to join the ABC, I felt it was an honor, that our blog was somehow recognized as worthy of becoming part of the said group.

I still feel this way, even up to now, but if you ask whether I’m proud of our ‘leader’, I guess that’d be another story. While I found it fun to be part of the ABC, considering how it allowed me to interact with other bloggers far more than I imagined, this isn’t any reason to dismiss Owen’s actions (whatever plans he has in mind for doing this).

With the lack of trust in the very person who initiated this so called ‘collective’, obviously, forging unity within the group is close to impossible, not unless someone else overthrows him and assumes the position of being the rightful leader.

ABC, it’s been fun while it lasted, but things have now gotten way out of hand, sad to say… =___=

P.S. Owen, please stop being gay and speak out!! Your silence is deafening.

P.P.S. Happy April Fools everyone! Sorry for this lie… the dictator Owen has finally revealed the truth (or otherwise) in all this. Sorry for the casualties this caused… and I’m especially sad to see Crusader suddenly lose faith in me… wahhhh I am so not gonna lie again.
