There’s only 1 day left before the Anime Blog Awards Nomination Phase ends, so I’m not sure if this post will still be of any use, but anyways. Anyone who has an anime blog who’s currently reading this, please get your nominations in by April 22, which is coincidentally, Earth Day (although I wouldn’t have known about this if it weren’t for that Starbucks promo XD).

The top 5 nominees in each category will be selected for the next phase, the actual voting, which will run from April 25-June 1.

In behalf of my fellow chefs who are still hibernating at this wonderful Springtime, I’d like to once again thank everyone who nominated us! We may not have a chance to become part of the top 5 nominees, but one nomination is enough to touch the heart of this little bunny *bow*

So anyways, I finished placing my nominations (partly thanks to the power of copy pastah lol), and to spare me the agony of having to write about my selections for each category, I’m just going to highlight one which I consider to be the most personal of all, The Most Influential Blog Category.

See, if I were my old self way back when I started blogging, I don’t think I would’ve been able to mention any blogs under this category, because I wasn’t following any blogs before I started my own (as I mentioned in our Birthday post). But now, after a year of blogging, I’d like to think that a number of blogs helped shape my blogging style, whatever disaster this turned out to be

Owen earns the reputation of being the first one to have ever trolled my post(s), as I nonchalantly typed out words for my Kimikiss posts which I never thought would haunt me back someday lol. He’s the real KimiKiss devil’s advocate, and one of those who allowed me to view harem animes (especially the different character archetypes) in a different (and more open-minded) light, along with CCYoshi and Stripey (If there were room for two more slots, I’d go nominate these two as well x__x). Here’s to more insightful and Serious Anime Business talk~

I’ve always admired tj for his randomness and great sense of humor, evident in the posts that he write, covering such a wide range of topics at that He certainly puts the f-u-n in blogging, something which I have yet to incorporate in my posts. Here’s to more fun and random (and hopefully insightful) posts~!

Then of course, Hinano, a fellow fangurl and a source of inspiration to the rest of the women in the blogosphere surrounded by a pack of wolves :3 She’s the blog sempai I really look up to, especially when it comes to giving fangurling all you’ve got, may it be positive giggly fangurling, or fangurl rage level Here’s to more fangurling~!

Now I think my multiple blogging personas won’t be much of a surprise, given how these three different bloggers served as my sources of inspiration. I still confuse myself from time to time too, thinking which persona I should change to, in my succeeding posts @_@
