@wandering-dreamer: Mendoi-Conclave must’ve went through quite a lot of QC-ing or perfecting, hence the slowness of the subs. There’s currently a livejournal community (http://community.livejournal.com/toshosen_tsl) dedicated to translating the novels, which is great. That means more exposure to non-Japanese readers, and make the possibility of having the novels licensed, higher as well ^^

I’m not keeping my hopes up too much that this will have a sequel… that way, I can be more surprised and glad when it finally comes true

Well I blazed through this series in a few days and I must say, why didn’t the fansubbers start earlier on this dangit?!? I couldn’t find this series earlier in the spring and had totally forgotten about it until I say your posts about it again. Grr, this one had better get licensed in the US soon, and I hope they also publish the novels, they seem to doing more and more of this lately which is excellent. Ah, and a question about the novels/manga, you said that they do go beyond this point? I hope so anyway, then there is material for a sequel!

I was just bored. After all, none of the summer anime look particularly appealing to me. Well, maybe Natsume Yuujinchou, but it hasn’t started yet.

But I wouldn’t mind a more “serious” Library War sequel in the future, to cover the material they’ve left out in Toshokan Sensou.
