A devil Oryzae is fine too <33
I spotted this soon-to-be-released Oryzae cosplaying plushie (lolz) when I ordered a pair of Moyashimon cellphone strap in Amazon JP a few days ago, and it never fails to make me chuckle every time I see it
Just look at that! Look at how cute and silly it is!
ROFL.
I should commend myself for resisting the urge to buy this, considering I have too much expenses already
Now would have been the perfect time to order this, since many of my officemates are having their business trip in Japan, so they’re delivery-friendly
But since I already had quite a lot of stuff [scheduled to be] delivered to them, I won’t add to their burdens any more than I already am doing atm
Hi, I was wondering…what kind of job do you have
? Because you mention your office members a lot and business trips to Japan, so that made me curious. I’m going to study Japanese in college this coming schoolyear and I’m very interested in possible jobs after my education.. Thanks in advance!
@ShiMan: I work as a programmer in a Japanese company, so we occasionally have projects requiring business trips to Japan
Studying Japanese is a really broad subject, which can extend to just about any field of expertise. It’ll all depend on the kind of job you want and what field you want to be in I guess, be a translator or interpreter in whatever company hehe
I think it’s good to specialize in something else than Japanese, for more career opportunities, just my two cents. Ok, this blog has officially become a career consulting panel
I wonder if they’ll release a angel version
I’ve been looking for a Moyashimon phonestrap for ages, but all I ever see are them fridge magnets and I don’t have a fridge -_-”
@ usagijen: Thats sounds really awesome
Well I’m still deciding whether I’ll take History or Economics as a minor to my (future) studies. I do think about getting a career in translating manga or such, but its still an issue whether there are companies like this in Belgium
And I’m still not sure what other possibilities career-wise there are if I studied Japanese, although I’m sure I’m going to study Japanese
@issa-sa: I wantz fridge magnets D: Well I’m sure there are online shops selling Moyashimon phonestraps, if you really want
@ShiMan: Japanese companies are like everywhere, so opportunities that you’re looking for won’t be difficult to find. If you want to get into a manga translating career, you’re gonna have to work really hard for it, and translating for scanlation groups will be a good start. I think you’ll earn more if you have another job and just do translating as a side job or something, but it’s all up to you
All the best!
