This is now more than a week delayed due to my blogging break last week, and my procrastination blues. A chunk load of updates happened when I was gone, and more otome game sites have also been popping like mushrooms as of late. So yeah, go check out their sites if you want the meaty in-depth otome games info. I’m too lazy to write reviews of the games I’ve played
In the meantime, I’ll just continue on providing otome games updates ^^

VitaminX Y and Z: Ok, so after the hit game VitaminX (whose premise is somewhat like Gokusen, with more rich bostad hotties, bishies, and a pseudo-transvestite too), there’s going to be two mini game sequels, entitled VitaminY and VitaminZ respectively (gee what a creative way of naming!) |

Hoshigari Empusa: I’ve been quietly anticipating this game, and much to my sadness that the release date of the PSP version has been pushed back to Winter T-T This is quite a fun-looking otome game, one of the rare multi-player otome games out there, with a reallyyy interesting cast of characters (character-wise and seiyuu-wise). Both the guys and the girls look PURE WIN |

*dies at Hoshizora’s seyuu*
And on Vitamin X Y Z…I don’t know how to react XDD I love Vitamin X, but sequels tend to disappoint me…
@litewolf: yes, I almost fainted when I found out about the seiyuus in Comic Garden too!!
VitaminX and VitaminY will most likely be fun, since they are said to be mini-games
From what I’ve seen though, the people are more excited over VitaminY than VitaminX, and I haven’t digged up much info to find out exactly why.
@usagijen: I guess because Vitamin Y are the old characters while Vitamin Z seems new ones? Or old ones in an alternate universe and different looks? I can’t really tell… But where T6 is, I’ll be there, I bought the limited edition of Vitamin X Evolution just for the cover with them
And I miswrote X Y and Z countless times while writing this post
@litewolf: all for the love of T6
and lol, it’s understandable how X, Y, and Z will be confusing. Blame the creative people who coined these titles
Oooh Asaki Yumemishi, I just installed it a bit ago
~
I haven’t gotten that far, but so far it’s pretty
lol so far I really love the pretty sound effects.
Now wish I had a PS2 so I could get that JR game.
@KeoDear: Asaki Yumemishi looks really pretty, and I hope the story and overall gameplay is good too! I see lots of potential for it
and yeah, poor Hoshigari Empusa… I’d rather play the PSP version than the earlier released PS2 one.
@Taiyaki: yeah, that game is sooo made for you
Wow, I didn’t expect any old DC characters to return in DC Symphony. I wonder if Nanaka and Suginami are good enough incentives to convince guys to purchase the game.
I’m pretty excited over the Rhapsody port.
Attacking people with dessert is just awesome. I wonder if they’ll add more in terms of story though. Not that they need to per se, but it was wayyy too short a game.
Oh man, these are cute emoticons…
Anyway, keep up with the good work!
I love otome games so i’m glad i found this place
…but i’d hate to make a guy angry just because i couldn’t understand what i was saying to him
bookmarking this place!
except…have you found any english ones? I know that people can play them without understanding what the other people are saying
late reply is late orz.
@unsquared: I actually forgot to pimp the game with that info, that should pique the guys’ interest to play this otome game
I think they’re gonna add a bit to Rhapsody’s story, though I wouldn’t mind more omake mini games
Thanks for the support, it’s much appreciated!
@chiyoko: There are only a handful of games ported to English, as far as I know. For PC games, I think there are people who are making translation patches, though I’m not that knowledgeable about ‘em
