Watching TokiKake on a sucky CRT computer monitor is one thing; seeing it on the big screen - and without the luxury of skipping forward or back - is another thing entirely. I'm pleased to report that my sister enjoyed the film. Imouto-chan was the one who first got me into anime a couple of years back, but she's more into J-pop and J-drama these days so I'm glad to put her back in touch with the world she herself once introduced to me. Looking forward to the next one! (And let's hope they throw in a couple of Shinkai films to crown the 2009 festival.) (Incidentally, I caught the 2 PM Sunday screening. Which one did you go to?)
