@usagijen: Ahaha, I'm pretty much blind about production values (as long as it's not uber crappy, I won't notice it). I'm a sound whore though and Amatsuki has amazing seiyuus. Unfortunately the most delicious manga part comes after the point where anime stop.

I'm a crybaby too, Natsume is really good in the heart warming aspect.

Considering that Oofuri has been A-1's most profitable series, I really hope season 2 will be out soon.

@p-kun: Amatsuki is Spring, and I watched an episode or two, but I couldn't get into it... I blame the lackluster production values and my pickiness ^^; I loved the manga's artwork, and you reminded me to get into that now.

I'm a little behind Natsume, but every episode I watch of that show moves me to tears. Natsu no Sora doesn't have that much effect on me, but I love it nonetheless. Both these two shows make me go 'reflective' on my life and I really have to post about them real soon. Sora is a naive crybaby, Gouta is far more mature and I hope she learns from him ;)

Sequels are hard to come by nowadays, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Oofuri will get that chance. It was really popular in Japan too, so it shouldn't be impossible. For now, let's just enjoy the animes in each season as they come :)

Hum, I'm surprised you didn't sample Amatsuki (or is it spring anime? Anyway the sub has just finished recently). Too bad it stop short in introduction phase due to the manga being not further enough. The latest manga chapters were amazing.

I'm following half the shows you mentioned. Natsume is my fave show in the summer. Natsu no Sora, well, if only there are more likable characters... I hate Sora with passion, I don't know why. I can adore crybabies like Mihashi in Oofuri, but everytime I see Sora cries for things not worth tearing for, I don't feel like watching anymore. Thankfully there's Gouta. I'm watching it just for Gouta and the music right now. Hopefully Sora grows.

I need to continue with Antique Bakery. I felt the first ep insulted homosexual people and that put me off, but looking at the good reviews here and there, I should restart.

Other than that, I'm still mourning over the fact that A1 produces shows not called Oofuri season 2 in the fall.

I kind of expected that, hehe, but, regardless, if I could, drop a comment or something. The last week of September is when I'm free-er-ish. lol.

@Kin: It's not terrible period. It's just cheesy and lack choreography in the battle scenes :P

@hazy: I feel bad for not following Ryoko, but oh well, I'm happy with the shows I'm following now XD

I'm essentially following Natsu no Sora, Natsume and Ryoko for this summer season. Most of the other series I'm watching are those that carried over from spring '08. ^_^
