Toshokan Sensou

A Quickie Announcement Post on the Toshokan Sensou Novel Translation Project

While I’m still in a Toshokan Sensou novel reading slump mode, it looks like a group of enthusiastic TS fans finally decided to join forces and translate the awesome novels for other fans and cynics to see. Thanks to AniSuki member Kakulukiam for the heads up, otherwise I wouldn’t have known about this project which started out a month ago. Now you guys can read it and see the true Library War for yourself~ :3

Meanwhile, I’ll be continuing reading Skip Beat till the latest chapter, hopefully churn out a manga pimping post about it real soon, and work on our Fall anime preview. Then review the Toshokan Sensou Love & War vol.2 by next next week, if I don’t get lazy xD

On a completely unrelated note, I sighed at the sight of yet another Toshokan Sensou sick pic (of Shibasaki), while searching for images in moe.imouto.org T__T Sick fags and their bondage fetishes! >E

  1. Hell yes - so much for actually reading the novels once my Japanese (and knowledge of military terms in Japanese) improves XD
As for the last pic… Urgh (Can’t we get a Doujou dakimakura instead? :P)

  2. Yes. Translation project. If I catch it at the beginning I love reading along (even if I love a series, I can never catch up with novel translations until they come out officially, too much reading on the computer).

Hmm, I should really get through the anime for Toshokan Sensou soon now that I’m reminded. So much to do~!

  5. @issa-sa: hell yes indeed! Until I finish my review on JLPT1 and pass, I don’t think I’ll consider myself fit to read the TS novel so I won’t continue reading past volume 1, not until I get help from the manga XD

How I wish there would be a Doujou dakimakura~~ D:

    @FuyuMaiden: you can always opt to print the translations and read it with the hardcopy lol :P Well I do that sometimes… ^^;

Marathoning TS should be a breeze since there are only a few episodes and it’s really fast paced xD Let the love of Iku and Doujou motivate you to finish it~!

@biankita: haha, just prepare yourself more with Skip Beat, that series is gonna suck you in sooo bad, but it’s totally worth your time~

@Wija-chan: consider yourself lucky since a group (or some groups) has been scanlating the Toshokan Sensou manga for the sake of fans. Then you can always opt to buy the Japanese mangas ;)

  6. Thanks for the link!

I still remember the good old days when Baka Tsuki’s Suzumiya Haruhi light novel translation project was in full swing. Waiting for each chapter to come out, wondering when the next update will be published and so forth. Now that the 10th book is still on indefinite TBA status, I’m glad to have another Japanese novel series to follow.

  7. Yay for the translation of the Toshokan Sensou novels!

I’m also looking forward to the fall anime preview. I’ve already decided that I’m going to watch Skip Beat and I’m also thinking of taking a look at Hakushaku to Yousei. I’m curious to know if you will be blogging this 8)

  9. Hi from akiba-station!^_^
Are there scanlations for Love & War yet? As far as I know I’m the only one doing TS, and I’m only doing Spitfire (though right now my translator is sort of…MIA^^;). I know another group announced some months ago that they’re doing L&W, but since then I haven’t heard anything about that project. I’m really looking forward to it.

  10. @Diego: it’s rare for people to take the time and effort to translate novels into English, so it’s always a great thing. I just hope these guys will keep up the TS passion going and finish this project till the end ^^

@Priss-chan: Skip Beat and Hakushaku to Yousei are two of my definitive must-watch in the Fall lineup 8) I certainly will see to it that I’ll blog them.

@Wija-chan: look around, those scanlations are just around the corner XD

@haya5hi: and thanks for dropping by! :3

Oh, it’s great that you headed the scanlation for SpitFire! Awesome!

Sadly, I haven’t seen any groups working on Toshokan Sensou Love and War T__T It’d be great if people could read that too… :( I’m too lazy to translate, so I can’t be of any help
