I’ve seen the first episode and have been meaning to see the rest of them. It’s intriguing, but I’m trying to figure out whey fighting robots is so bloody, I thought blood was a human thing, silly me. And it is really interesting to see some old school designs, I’ve never really seen any old school anime so it’s really different.

i love this show. this has got to be one of the more underrated anime this season!

the only thing i find old school about this show is casshern’s character design (hair, eyes, clothes). but for some reason, the old schoolness seems to blend in so well with the rest of the animation. i love the colors they used because they seem to pop. i don’t know what the term is, i just appreciate theart.

@bakaneko By saying the designs as old school, I didn’t mean to say it’s bad or something. I agree, I find it refreshing amidst the current design styles. I still think Ringo is kawaii though.

Old school, maybe, but I find the animation pretty refreshing and actually beautiful in surreal sense—especially in the third episode, which you obviously have not seen yet as human makes the appearance there.

And oh, Ringo is hideous! Why didn’t her head just pop as it should’ve?? :p

Been good through 3 episodes so far, will likely continue throughout the series. I like the old-school style, and how they delve into the psyche of the robots facing death.
