@Kitsune: if you’re comfortable with sharing bits about your personal life, then why not! It allows you to get closer to your readers/blogging friends too

@spiralspade: hehe, well for starters, you might post a little blurb or update first, then look for people to ~~stalk~~ follow, so you’ll have this little “network”. You’ll get to see the updates of the people you follow, reply to them, etc. If they follow you, they’ll get to see your updates as well I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it soon

@Maura: I find plurk to be too “invasive” lol. Twitter is fun, and it’s good for blogging too (could be a source of inspiration? lol)!

I never noticed it 0.o until you mentioned it!! But it looks cool. I use to be addicted to twitter, for no odd reason. Now I’m more interested in plurk. actually not really, but oh-well. Your insane life might keep my insane life insane. ^-^

@Hyn: but twitter is easier to use than plurk! Well it’s less interactive, but I like the simplistic “linear” design

For random blurbs, I use plurk on my site to keep myself happy.

@Caitlin: I do agree that it gives a nice personal touch in the site, the problem comes in when we’re talking about team blogs, since the twitter sidebar simply serves as a window to one author’s ‘personal life’, in this case it was me lol. Figured I should make the site more relevant to the whole “team blog” personality

If I was just a casual reader who wants to know about animu/manga and couldn�t care any less about the blog author�s boring real life events, I sure won�t give a damn about that.

Hmm…gives me something to think about how I utilize Twitter. While it’s also a little community in itself, the display is worth thinking about. I always figured it gave the site a touch of the personal – it’s hard to convey who I am through blog posts, unless I get into a journalistic mode.

Oooooh, lol this is actually quite interesting move … My Tiger supports this sort of thing without the hack. If/when the mellow bunny posts about it, definitely check it up ^^
