To ToraDora with Love: Letters from the Dearly Retarded
Toradora is one of my favorite running shows right now, the other being Skip Beat!. I love the drama and the mix of crack. After my latest dose of Toradora though (episode 19), I have to ask out of frustration: Why is everybody a bloody martyr!?!

Why Minorin?! Why? You’ll be kicking yourself so hard in the morning, it’s not even funny. I thought we could finally be rid of your emoness, because it’s driving us over the wall. Yes, it’s freakin’ annoying! But, nooooo… Altruism had to kick in and you just had to shoot down Ryuuji like a deer caught in the headlights. The poor guy is so shocked that he couldn’t even go after you to wring out a non-cryptic rejection. Either that or the overuse of gel for his mafia hairdo fried his brains. Ah, but I digress. If you’re going to break someone’s heart, at the very least, do it properly.
P.S. If you love Taiga that much, the two of you might as well be a couple.

I especially agree with the Minorin one. Ryuuji deserved better than that cryptic “rejection.”
I hope they manage to end the series properly. Perhaps there’d be another season… it’s not far-fetched, no?

Because I’m such a BADASS LIGHT NOVEL READER, I must reveal the true reason why Taiga was “out on the street just in time for Minorin to see.” It wasn’t entirely co-incidence. After being told by Taiga that Ryuuji was going to confess to her, Minorin wanted a final confirmation that Taiga didn’t like Ryuuji, so she went to Taiga’s place. Lo and behold, she sees Taiga going emo and screaming “RYUUUUUUUUUUJIIIIIIIIIII WRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY”.

@hazy I really do hope they can wrap it up nicely. It has been a great run so far, it’d be a shame if the show suddenly lost steam and become another one of those anime that had so much potential but ended up being mediocre.

@Lupus I knew it! I had my doubts about it being a mere coincidence. Glad you cleared that up for me! I just couldn’t quite swallow that the decisive Minorin-Ryuuji raburabu moment was unceremoniously destroyed ‘coz Minorin was at the right(?) place at the right(?) time.
