This is my first webcomic, so please be gentle~
Inspired by the “twitter conversation” that went from this, this, this, this, this, this, and this.
Before I end this post, may I just ask… IS THERE STILL ANYONE ON EARTH NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO EDEN OF THE EAST (especially after seeing that *ahem* revealing trailer)?!!! We might have varying ‘levels of looking forward’ to a series, given our varying degrees of biases, prejudices, personality, etc (hence your ‘looking forward’ might be far different from mine), but heck, if we’re one in the excitement of looking forward to this, should that even matter? Let’s just await the coming of its awesomeness.

Even if it fails to deliver I will pretend it’s a parallel-world Morita x HaguYamada. It just might work!
OGT makes delicious Churuya-san. And Eden of the East delicious smoked cheese. Or naked Morita. Whatever floats your boats.
I give credit to Twitter’s 140-character limit for the cause of this silliness.
Oh yes, that anime looks promising
I’ll blog at least one episode and might cover it regularly
I do say that I make an excellent Churuya-san myself.
FOR THE RECORD: because it’s Twitter, I was too lazy to look up Kenji Katayama’s name (being Churuya-san, I don’t have access to YUKI.N’s massive TechnoCore database storage/retrieval systems, or, in fact, much intellect at all) but I recognized him most readily as “that guy who did Seirei no Moribito” and said that. I do this because I haven’t properly watched GitS:SAC nor Jin-Roh nor Blood: The Last Vampire, but I know quality when I see it, no matter how I see it.
I do not normally fall prey to the amazing marketing tatics of “FROM THE
SON OF THE UNCLE OF THE GRANDFATHER OF THE BEST FRIEND OF THEDIRECTOR OF SEIREI NO MORIBITO COMES [drumroll] EDEN OF THE EAST” nor the ones that involve copious amounts of ellipses…or, at least, not without knowing what I’m buying into. So, yeah, 140 characters. Still wouldn’t pay $250/month for 500 characters and a rental tuxedo though.
Eden of the East? Never heard of it. Anime doesn’t exist until it gets subbed.

wut? But I’m a 1337 raw watcher.
eden looks like a high-quality-generic, they’re throwing a lot of time and money into it but it still looks generic. that’s how i see it anyway.
I see nice scenery and good production quality from the trailer. not much else going on though…
I caught the trailer from the link about and it looks nice. It seems to be a series where characters have supernatural capabilities but what is the main plot? I still don’t get it after catching the trailer.
However, the male protagonist resembles L from Death Note a little when he’s in that white tee-shirt.
I wasn’t really that interested in Eden of the East… until I saw the trailer you linked up
OMG its naked Morita!
I recognize the awesome potential in this anime plus the fact that I love the shows on noitamina, therefore I am super excited about this one!!!!
I would be lying if I said I was not looking forward to this as well.
Lelangir: wut imma l33t rawr vatcher 2 lolwut
*awaits the trolling*
yesh… apparently I need to say more… lol
Oh man, I’m looking forward to this so much. I especially love the music.
Seriously can’t wait!
@Owen: I think it’s even harder to *not* think of this as an H&C parallel universe. I totally see Morita in the guy!!
@animekritik and TJ: originality/generic-ness is overrated!
@Hynavian: not knowing what it’s about is what’s gonna make you watch it!
@Nekonron: lol, and I can actually picture Morita doing the same stunt hahaha.
I am only going to watch it because it has characters designed by Umino Chika.
That badass guy who looks like Hanamoto-sensei is going to be the high light of the show.
