That title you have there reminds me of Glass Mask, where the main character is a genius actress that has 1000 masks for each role she plays.

Since both anime/manga are about acting it kinda fits. But true, Kyoko is one of the best heroines (*cough* doormat from Hot Gimmick *cough*).

After devoting herself to Sho, all the stuff she went through when she was a kid, and eventually having her eyes opened to the truth, I love seeing Kyoko’s journey as she tries to find her own identity, and watching her grow in every episode. Her theatrics are pure win and so much fun to watch!

On another note, Ren is also great to watch/read… learning about his past little by little and watching his feelings for Kyoko grow. I even began to *somewhat* appreciate Sho after the angel+devil arc. I’m really hoping for season 2 (or more) plus Show ▼

Thank goodness for the manga. Now I just have to control myself and read it slowly so I won’t be left hanging while waiting for the latest chapters. xDD

i’ve only started watching this series but i’m surprised by how much i’m beginning to like it. i like kyoko’s multi-dimensional growth. she does have her issues but it’s not hard to relate to some of her dilemmas. occasionally hilarious and nice characterization

@FuyuMaiden: Her expressiveness + ability to emphatize with other people makes her WIN in showbiz! And if you’re currently suffering from anime-Kyoko withdrawal, you can always opt for a rewatch!

and LOL @ the Kyoko hater, she’s better off ignored. We can all laugh at her foolishness, ohohohoho~ *imitates Kyoko’s devilish laughter*

@Minnie and BeLe: I remember bateszi mention about the shounen-hybrid characteristic of Skip Beat, and I couldn’t agree more. We have Kyoko facing the challenges of Showbiz, on the way to find her true self, facing hurdles here and there, powering up to become much better than she was yesterday! Yeah!

@ Fuyu: Seriously? I’ve never ran into anyone like that. Good because god knows what I would do to them.

I love Kyoko. She has so many emotions, that can change at any given time like a real person. She never gives up, even in circumstances that would prompt most people to lose hope, and even when she makes judgements on people, she’s always willing to admit she was wrong and forgive.

Also, how could you dislike anyone that crazy? (In a totally normal way though).
