3 Reasons Why Yui Should Stick with Castanets
Yui Hisakawa was once an avid fan of castanets, but the evil Light Music Club has stolen her from her childhood love. She is now a captive of munchy snacks, fluffy cute girlfriends, and her fated guitar of destiny pink love™. That’s just wrong, Yui and castanets belong together, and here are 3 reasons why.
A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture with words is worth even more.
Just so you know, that review in #3 was an actual review of the actual product and served as the inspiration for this post. This was a fun post to do, editing pictures and coming up with a good layout. Man, I’ve got too much time in my hands

Unfortunately, in episode 4, we are shown that she’s actually quite good at guitar. Pack of liars, girls with stubby fingers are never good.

They’re perfect for Yui! She’s got such a knack for them too – you could tell that she was totally the best in her entire kindergarten class.

I swear the best part of that is the very slight pause between the second and third un~tan~, and then the subsequent slighter pause between the third un~ and tan~. It feels so rhythmically arrhythmic. That, friends, is truly advanced moenetics at work.

my question is: is the person in that review speaking literally, as in: “she has a ball with them!”? Does the poor little kid stick a ball inside the castanets or what. i could see yui trying that..
