I definitely have Daa Daa Daa with the bunch I treat as my favorites. I even mentioned it in my about page that it was one of the reason why I chose “temporal vortex” as my blog name (since it is connected to worm holes and such).

I never get tired watching Daa Daa Daa. It eally is such a heart warming anime even though it is unrealistic because of the aliens. Even so, it is just sad that fansubs of the said anime is still in progress even though it’s been years.

I won’t be ashamed even if people from the aniblogosphere would see Daa Daa Daa in the list of my favorite ones.

@bluemist: KYAAs back Ohh GALS! I remember love too! That was one awesome shoujo show I also need to rewatch!

@Chris: LIFE and Nana comes to mind when you mentioned that. I try to avoid those painful shows because I don’t really find it enjoyable. If I’m in the mood for something ‘dark’ perhaps.

Daa! Daa! Daa! on the other hand, can sure brighten up your drab day~! It’s more fun than heartwarming, so it’s one heck of an enjoyable ride hehe. I’d sooo want you to watch Aka-chan to Boku because that’s the series comparable to Aishiteruze Baby (though it’s a different breed of heartwarming), but curse you, lack of subs

Thanks for reminding me about Daa! Daa! Daa!, I had originally intended to watch the series but I totally forgot about it. So, now I’m DLing the first 52 episodes. I have always loved a good shoujo series but sometimes I think that the newer shoujo series’s have almost gone too far with all the angst, sex, backstabbing, and meanness, and Daa! Daa! Daa! seems like one of those heartwarming series like Mama wa Shougaku Yonnensei, and Aishiteruze Baby.

The opening song for Daa! Daa! Daa! Heart no Tsubasa is still one of my all-time favorites! And it has IMO one of the best local (Filipino) anime dubs. Every weekend was total enjoyment back then, if I recall correctly this was airing along with Super GALS! (yet another remember love for me!) Oh my shoujo fangs are starting to come out once again! Miyu x Kanata KYAAA!!!

*steals issa-sa’s Daa!x3 and Aka-chan to Boku* lolol. Man, I’m sooo buying the whole set of this when I’m sent to Japan.

As for which one to read first, it would totally depend on your mood. If you’re in the mood for rabu rabu, then Daa!x3, if you want something even warmer but can be quite a tear-jerker, then Aka-chan to Boku hehe

Aaa, Daa! Daa! Daa! – so fuzzy, heartwarming, uncomplicated, and most of all: RUU IS THE MOST ADORABLE CHARACTER EVAR ME WANTS AN ALIEN BABY OF MY OWN TOO The series’ surprising length and the early episodes’ standalone nature might make it a bit hard to marathon though, which ultimately made me stop watching for a while But now you’ve made me want to continue again cos I’ve yet to reach the MiyuXKanata rabu rabu part of the story yet!!!

(Now, which manga should I start reading first? I have BOTH Daa!X3 and Aka-chan to Boku on my shelves waiting to be unwrapped )
