  5. Lol I never went as far as to watch anime at work, but I have read manga from time to time.

  6. P.S. I did this during lunch break, not delinquent enough to do this during work hours :P

    @Ryan: i-i-it’s not like this w-was getting in the way of my productivity or a-anything! XD

    @bianki: my boss knows, I even told her I took advantage of the LCD TV during lunch break :P

    @maAkusutipen: Nihongo sensei-sponsored jdrama viewing?!!! D: D: D: Now I envy you. Would be great to watch as a group, especially with nihongo senseis! Quite a fun learning experience it would be.

    @TJ: I only do this during lunch break :P

  7. Dang, makes me wish my higher-ups were more understanding. They run a pretty tight ship – try something as innocent as checking your personal email account and you risk landing an infraction.

    Not to worry, one of these days I plan to stick a Nagato wallpaper on top of my default Windows screen as an act of defiance. (And if I’m feeling particularly rebellious, I might – just might – change the font in my reports from Arial to Goudy Old Style.)

    Workers of the world, unite!

  8. @Diego: that’s tough. lol rebellion, if that makes you any happier then go and add spice into your work life~! ;)

  9. I think my biggest mistake while watching anime at places like these was to laugh out loud. :oops:

  10. @Shin: this was in a conference room, so there still won’t be any problems if I LOL’d XDD Still, no problem LOL-ing, unless you’re watching a fanservice-filled show, which will make people around you go o.O;;

  11. Possible shameless plugging for the otaku populace? If I did this on one of our employee lounges people would crowd around and ask me what I’m watching.

    … which brings me to the fact that I don’t bring any stuff they already know. If I brought the latest Naruto episodes (which thankfully I don’t follow, thus this is only but an example) for them to watch I’d be swarmed by closet Narutards in an instant. Bad idea for me.

    But yeah, I casually do this on my breaks and spare time, much to the interest of those around me. But then again, I’m not locally employed by any company, so…

  12. jen that’s a violation LOL

    Did you know that back when the company rules were not as strict as they are now, there was a torrent and an ftp sites for anime in the office??!! Those were the good old days. The only downside back then was that my PC’s HD was only 40 GB. ^_^;

    @hayase: wowowee o.O good old days indeed. Now we’re not even permitted to bring anything USB!
