A Close Encounter with Nature and a Bunch of Chamomiles

I had the luxury of going to Eden nature park during my Davao trip, together with the hamster chef and another friend of ours. We took this opportunity to go on a guided shuttle tour around the vast land of Eden, where we felt really close to nature as we roamed around its beautiful botanical gardens~ There I had a close encounter with… the great chamomiles (or so that’s what I think it is)!!

WordCamp Philippines 2008 Shout Out

I seem to have been living under a rock for not having known about the ongoing registration for WordCamp Philippines 2008, which started last week! Hope I can still make it in time for the 350 participants cut-off with this registration!

Shugo Chara 2nd Season, Yay or Nay?

News of the Shugo Chara 2nd season seems to be all the buzz recently, to which I have mixed feelings about, same with other people. I have yet to grow tired of all the fillers eps because I skipped (or fast-forwarded through) most of ‘em, episodes 14-15, 34-37, but still.

A Wii Nodame Cantabile Dream Orchestra Dream Come True

Finally got to play this game with friends... with an orchestra!

I am back from my trip, and it’s been no less than fun fun fun :D I had such a great time staying at the hamster’s den, not simply because she and her entire family were such kind hosts (smothered us–me and my officemate/ travel buddy, the hamster’s buddy as well–with love, foodies especially <3), but because we got to spend time together with the hamster chef, her sister, and the rest of the hamster’s buddies (including our duck chef BeLe :P)–quality bonding time playing Wii until the wee hours of the morning~

Hanging out someplace in Davao City in the morning, playing Wii at home at night. That’s basically our “leisure lifestyle” throughout the trip, with the scrumptious snacks and meals in between *yum yum*

Trapped in the Hamster’s Den!

I was thinking of posting this yesterday but I didn’t quite have the leisure to do that due to my busy work and scheduled trip earlier today… to the clean and green Hamster’s Den! So yeah, I basically crashed in the hamster chef’s comfy cove (together with another friend of ours), and I’m gonna be spending a whooping 5 days here (today is the 1st day, the hamster chef Seleria fetched us from the airport, served us Scrumptious food, toured us around +___+). Tomorrow is the hamster chef’s birthday, and we’re going to spend most of the day in the Pearl Farm :D

The Otome Games Digest #4

There aren’t much otome games updates this week, and sad to say that one of the great-looking games I’m going to mention here is a voiced cellphone game which only the lucky people in Japan can get to play (it’s free too!) So *ahem* anyways, on with this otome games news updates!

What Have They Done to Oryzae?!

I spotted this soon-to-be-released Oryzae cosplaying plushie (lolz) when I ordered a pair of Moyashimon cellphone strap in Amazon JP a few days ago, and it never fails to make me chuckle every time I see it :D Just look at that! Look at how cute and silly it is! :o ROFL.

Micro-blogging is Confusing the Heck Out of Me Now, But I Has Gained Englightenment!

Foreword: This is what I get for attempting to “micro-blog” in more than one place at a time.

Remember the ‘Asides’ help we asked you guys before? Well, that sort-of worked for and against us (or rather me, the source of all randomness around this blog). It was a delight knowing that you guys are interested in our boring lives and other commentaries we might have. But then because of the jack-of-all-trades ambition of our ‘Asides’, I also managed to confuse the heck out of myself with the schemes I’ve been devising to make this section more effective and efficient. I brought my MAL and twitter into the blog, which I decided to use for blurbing on animes and RL or otaku stuff, respectively, by aggregating their feeds with the Asides category.

The Obligatory Scrumptious Blog Updates Post

Just to keep you guys updated with what’s happening in the metablogging scene of Scrumptious, here are the bunch of experiments changes/updates made to the blog since my last announcement:

Toshokan Sensou T-Shirts: The Ultimate Way of Flaunting Your TS Love

Well well, it seems that Cospa has decided to fool TS fans into buying give us more TS goodies, some shirts and tote bag which basically scream “I LOVE TOSHOKAN SENSOU!!” When I heard about this from Yu Ominae of AnimeSuki since the official TS site never mentioned anything about it, I went “Holy Mackerel!” 8O, pleasantly shocked and surprised by this news. Obviously, the next thing I did was to find out where I can order this, despite it being a unisex shirt (aka not really a cute fashionable shirt). Preorder seems to have ended in other shops, but luckily, Amazon JP still have them in stock 8) And hurray for friends and officemates in Japan who can bring these stuff for me!! :D
