Love is like a balloon.. when you push your relationship with someone forward it is like blowing up the balloon. If you blow too hard and too fast, the balloon pops and likewise the relationship breaks. But if you take things slowly and let the balloon of love stretch on its own, it grows into a huge, prosperous balloon, full of love. Also, if you don’t push the relationship at all, or at least hold it at the same level it was at, the air will flow out of the balloon, deflating it, and your love will shrivel up and become flat & lifeless. So when you are in love, push the relationship forward slowly and gently and the balloon will grow comfortably into a strong, immense love.

…too much love and you’ll burst like a balloon, too less of it and you’ll wither and won’t be able to fly. Do note that love comes in different forms, not just the romantic kind. –an anonymous rabbit

I guess this was shown for the sake of Asuka fans (like me), who sees the unlikelihood of this happening (with Kazuki) throughout the series =/
So everything went all smooth, and Kouchi especially, made up for his lack of balls in the past 12 episodes! Yuumi’s sudden aggressiveness must have gotten him into thinking that he should be THE MAN for that job, and not the other way around like last time.

This caught my eye while I was rummaging through the pile of KimiKiss game videos in youtube. Haruhiism invades KimiKiss!! This is one amazing Haruhi rendition of the KimiKiss Opening, with complete animation and all those effects in the original opening sequence. The new opening sequence of KimiKiss in episode 13 was amazing, but [...]
My health, and my internet wasn’t cooperating with me the past few days, so this post got even more delayed than it already is… x__x’’’
Last November, I published a KimiKiss Deep Frying post, highlighting the lack of EroKawaii-ness as one of the main reasons why many game fans disliked the anime adaptation. A few weeks back, I visited 2ch, to check out the discussions and KimiKiss hate threads that abound, only to realize the falsity of my previous claims, which was simply based on what I’ve seen in the novels and the manga.
Looking at the sentiments made by fans in the discussion threads, I found a number of reasons justifying the fan’s sentiments regarding the anime, excluding the erokawaii factor which only the manga and the novel counterparts had. The game is really pure and innocent, from what I’ve seen in the game videos (from youtube).
To highlight the sentiments of fans regarding the changes made in the anime…

Love is in the air~
This was such an emotionally-wrought episode (though not that heavy), and the best episode thus far. Apart from the formal development of the Asuka x Kazuki x Eriko love triangle, as Asuka comes into terms with her feelings, other characters in the show grow some balls, particularly Kazuki and Yuumi. The previous episodes were enough to hint Mao’s true feelings, fleshed out even more as she goes through the ordeal of coping with these emotions.
This will now be a sort-of combination of my thoughts regarding episodes 10-11. I’m gonna make this short and sweet, so I can move on to the rest of my backlogs~
Unlike the previous episodes, the pacing of the show is speeding up quite a bit. We see a coming storm in the relationship of Yuumi and Kouichi, which might or might not end the romance between the two. More episodes are necessary to see what direction they’re taking for this couple. I was quite surprised that they’d be presenting this plot device this early, since it’s supposedly the last hurdle in their relationship (based on the novel, and perhaps the game as well), which will then lead to a dramatic and dreamy ending~

Thoughts of Mao > Yuumi? hmmm
I think I’ve been bitten by the lazy blog bug, as I found myself spending more time with my PSP than ever before… hence the delay of this post >.> Have to get my blogging drive back in the coming weeks, and finish up more of my supposedly planned posts~!
Now for this episode of KimiKiss, we finally see the series taking the childhood friends turn romantic couple direction, though the final outcome of this remains to be seen. I’ll be happy with whoever they pair-up actually, so long as they give the relationship depth and/or development~ With more than 10 episodes to go, everything is possible. I just hope it won’t be a not-so-mature melodramatic ride like Marmalade Boy.
KimiKiss pure rouge Episode 8 - close to you

Kai is smooth~ as usual
This has got to be my favorite episode so far. My doubts and confusion with the previous episodes, particularly regarding Mao and Kai, were more or less cleared up (or am I merely putting on that pretense?). There are no romantic developments between Asuka and Kazuki yet, and I wonder if the pairing will become Asuka x Eriko instead of Eriko x Kazuki =P
(This post has been a little delayed because I am still, a little sick. I’m not going to the office tomorrow just so I can… sleep~ LOL)

I’ve become… emo~
Took me long enough to get this one out. Been busy with work and JLPT studies, and now I came down with a slight fever which started out with a sore throat (curse that cake I ate =___=) Hopefully, this won’t happen next week or else my JLPT is doomed o__O (reminds me of what happened to Mao).
Enjoy~ especially the melodramatic Mitsuki scenes from the manga

“You’re gonna need more of that Kazuki”
I’ve already read the little synopsis for this episode in Newtype a few days ago, so I was really happy to know that Kazuki and Asuka kissed and made up. I salute Kazuki for swallowing his pride and admitting that he was such a pathetic half-hearted guy, and of course for vowing to change his ways. Looks like Asuka’s words made such an impact on him that it seems to be what drives him in his decisions now, particularly in his dealings with Eriko, like when he was having second thoughts on whether he was going to invite Eriko in their group study.
