Wow… hisashiburi… o___o Despite the lack of activity in the blog lately, rest assured that all the chefs are still alive and kicking :p They’ve just been caught up with work, and real life in general. Hopefully, we’ll get the blog back on track again (and be able to reply to all the piled up comments as well x___x)~

Kaze no Stigma Episode 14 – Ayano’s Further Misfortune

Kazuma and Ayano once again goes out on a dinner date (for real this time) and we see both Ayano and Kazuma in formal, elegant clothing. Things however doesn’t turn out smoothly for these two as some unexpected visitors ruin this special occassion - some random muggers and a foreigner who came all the way from America to challenge Ayano to a duel. Will the dinner turn out to be nothing but a disaster? Or will some unexpected developments happen…?

Ayano and Catherine’s catfight continues, and their battle heats up even more with Kazuma at stake this time. Catherine actually manages to have Kazuma coach her in this battle, which finally brings about the development of the love triangle between these three characters. Catherine will be taking Kazuma with him to America if she wins, making Ayano even more motivated to defeat her. Ayano proclaims that she won’t let Kazuma get taken away by someone else, because…

Kaze no Stigma Episode 13 - Let’s Go to the Amusement Park!

Soushu once again schemes up a plan to make Ayano and Kazuma’s relationship progress (can’t they do it by themselves?! :p), by having them go to the amusement park for a “date” disguised as a “job”. Possessing her sense of responsibility as the next clan head, Ayano refuses to have fun and treats this as a mere work, despite how her heart longs to have fun… wackiness and romance ensues in this episode as Yukari and Nanase makes their appearance as well.

(And… this post is sooo delayed, I know… sorry for that… I’ve been thinking of writing the detailed or the super summary of this but ended up writing the detailed one… x____x I wasn’t able to have much time writing this one because I’m busy with work on the weekdays, and I’ve been suffering from some cough as well (imported from Japan LOL) The weather is nice now… the storm seems to have gone somewhere else this time :3)

A surprising news struck me Tuesday last week… and I actually had mixed emotions when it was brought to my attention. I felt ecstatic because it’s one of the things I’ve been longing to do for quite some time now (ever since I’ve become an anime / manga fanatic? XD), and at the same time felt troubled by how it’s going to affect my blogging life (temporarily, until the work I have there ends). Were you able to guess what ‘big break’ I’m referring to now? Kaze no Stigma Episode 12 – Confession Under the Moonlight

Ren’s arc has finally reached its climax and ends with this action-packed episode. How will our protagonists stand a chance against both Kureha and the majuu, and will this story conclude with Ayumi’s life at stake?

I should’ve known that having the anime stay faithful to the novel in the early part of the arc is an OMEN of a forthcoming “omission disaster” TT___TT. Hence, not cutting much in the previous episodes has taken its toll in this rather more critical part of the arc, taking away much of the antics with Ayano, Kazuma, Ren, and the supposedly ‘romantic antics’ as well.

Prepare for some DEEP DEEP frying for this one, thanks to the people who handled the Ren arc x__x On a positive note, this means that almost nil will be cut off with the last episode of the arc (hopefully), because there’s only about 80+ pages to cover (including the epilogue at that), so we’ll most likely be able to see the Kazuma x Ayano ‘scene’ I’m most awaiting >3 (Don’t disappoint now, GONZO, or I’ll really bite you >E)
