(edited this post for one additional important “item” I forgot to add earlier =___=””)
I have previously mentioned that one of the likely reason why they are extending—or why they can extend—Shugo Chara to 52 episodes is because of the show’s marketability, or perceived profitability.
The manga was already popular before the anime hype, mostly among shoujo fans, but it was not until the anime aired that it became mainstream, or is on the verge of becoming one. The anime was well-received, by both men and women, young and old, despite its cuteness, frilliness, and saccharine shoujo goodness, supposedly aimed at young girls. The lightheartedness of the show, with its loveable characters and overall enjoyableness factor is what most likely contributed to this. Enjoyableness in this sense encompasses the smuttiness of the show, thanks to Ikuto~, which I believe guys enjoy in this show as well, pervs and non-pervs alike. In case of pervs who want to see more of the SekuHara (sexually harassing) Ikuto, it can also be interpreted as “projecting themselves to Ikuto”, with whatever desires they might have on loli Amu >.>’’’’
The reception of old kimoota (kimochi warui otaku) guys to this show is attested by both these fanboys, and even more wild fanboys. The girls weren’t as active as the guys in the Shugo Chara events scene, but I’m sure they are just around the corner *points to self and these women* There’s also this kimoota who recently appeared, taking a footage of himself doing the LOVE POWAH attack, wearing the Humpty Lock toy half naked *shudder*

BARA–BARANSUUU, the DBZ-esque Fusion
BEWARE of SPOILERRS.
I have been a regular lurker in the Shugo Chara 2ch thread(s) as of late, looking forward to spoilers regarding chapter 23 (which came out in Nakayoshi’s December issue, released last November 2) because chapter 22 was such a cliffhanger… and I’m dying to know what happens to Daiya >__<''' Sadly, the Shugo Chara manga community in 2ch isn't as active as those with other mangas, where people post spoilers of the latest chapters, even before the actual release of the manga phonebook where it's serialized ^^;;
My lurking efforts, however, did not go unrewarded, because someone graciously posted... two "shots" of pages from Chapter 23, showing us some new Shugo Chara moves, with one oddly similar to the DBZ Fusion Dance o__O

Shugo Chara Episode 7 - 「ちいさなたまご!」(Little Egg)

Amiiii~~ o(≧∀≦)o
Gawd… I think I got moe-rdered by Ami… *dies* Her mini Shugoi adventure with the Shugo Charas was really cute, and loads of fun!! *moee* <33 I don’t think I’d mind more fillers of this kind x3 I found myself chuckling and giggling through the episode, translating / dramatizing it at the same time to my brother who I enticed to watch with me xD

This limited edition Honda motorbike ( Honda Monkey 40th Anniversary Edition) seems to have been released last December, and I wonder if the Amu-esque design was just pure coincidence or the designer was really inspired by Peach Pit’s Shugo Chara This bike is quite pricey, at ¥215,250, and I wonder how many people actually [...]

ujiuji sunna!! (Stop moping around!!)
This week we get to see crybaby Yaya’s life as a ballerina and the prima donna of their ballet class Maika (or MaiT, as Yaya calls her) who gets deprived of the chance to show her l33tness in their upcoming performance as she sustains a sprain injury from pushing herself to her limits. Maika gets depressed as she thinks that this little mishap will ruin her ballet career, just like her mother. But of course Amu once again shares her words of wisdom which she learns from Mr. Planetarium Caretaker, about how heroines of fairy tales start out having a sad fate but eventually transcends the suffering in their life, paving the way for their own happy ending~

KYAA~ Tadase-kun, don’t look~!
Only a few days away before Shugo Chara volume 5 gets released… and I wonder how many of you are making the countdown for this :p I happened to read chapter 21 of the manga, which will most likely be included in this upcoming volume. And just to share some tidbits about this… It’s not really spoilerish, but might just feed the poor souls hungry for more Amuto (Amu x Ikuto) >3

ARGH!! FILLER!!
It’s a filler episode!!! sigh… =__= How ironical it is that I made this post so fast when I hated the episode so much. Forgetting the manga as I watch this, it is quite an enjoyable episode. I STILL WANT MOAR IKUTOOO!! x__x

This show is getting smutty! >3 Though, I never thought the English hater X-Chara will be as freaky as it is in the anime, with its shattering shriek of “DO YOUU HAATE ENGLIIISHHHHHH?” “I HAATTEEE ENGLIISHHHHHH” >.>’’’

This song has been stuck on my head for days now, ever since I got to listen to Buono’s recently released single “Honto no Jibun”, containing both the OP and ED theme of my fave anime of the season… Shugo Chara!! This single is actually the debut of Buono, whose members consist of three Hello! Project Kids members: Momoko Tsugunaga and Miyabi Natsuyaki from Berryz Kobo, and Airi Suzuki from °C-ute.
I really love this song, not only for its upbeat melody but also for the positive vibes it give. Both the music and lyrics exude much optimism, and will serve as a constant reminder for people to keep on fighting despite whatever obstacles come their way. To stay true to their selves, rid themselves of worries and fears, and live life to the fullest! Banzai! :3
Read along for the lyrics~ :3

I seemed to have been carried away much worse with my deep thoughts on Shugo Chara after I watched episode 3. Insights suddenly came to me as I reflect on Amu’s situation and how I’ve sort of experienced the same thing before. I believe most of us have had these kinds of episodes as well, at some point in our lives. With that, I dedicate this Deep Frying Post for uhm… the Egg of My Heart. gawd I can’t believe I said that *blushes like a tomato* >_<
Contained herein are deep thoughts of this little bunny, which I hope will not fry the brains of most people and find it meaningful, one way or another. Yes, I have a little bunny brain, but there’s much depth there. Read on if you want, it’s all up to you
