With the outpour of the new Spring animes, I’ve been thinking a lot about what blogging style I should really adopt and stick to. I had already gone weary of making summary posts, not because of the elitist view that editorials and other writing styles are superior to episode summaries, but rather because it’s not my niche. I suck at summarizing, and I’m not being modest at that. The amount of time I spend on writing these is just ridiculous, ranging from 3-5 hours or more, depending on the anime. And the thing I hate most about this is that much of my time is wasted thinking about how to describe the scenes. How more lame could that be.

More often than not, I’m not even satisfied with the summary I churn out. Again, because I suck. (I’m not soliciting any sympathies here; I’m just stating mere facts) So why bother spending hours on something whose results are far from what you’d be proud of, when you can capitalize on your strengths instead?

These thoughts already came to me a few months back, during Fall 2007, hence the change in my blogging style, particularly for KimiKiss and Shugo Chara, though I dropped the latter a few months after. The same goes for True Tears, whose bandwagon I joined halfway through the show, with the sudden spark of writing motivation I had. What I liked most about blogging KimiKiss and True Tears is how the shows itself compelled me to write. And I believe that�s the tried-and-true Way of Blogging^TM.

The Christmas title isn�t appropriate anymore so I changed it. This is actually the last post I have for the �12 Days of Christmas / New Year�, but since I still haven�t finished my supposedly 11th day post, here goes~

A retrospective post in my otaku life (or life in general) for the year 2007.

2007 is such a memorable year for me. Not to mention I actually greeted the 2007 New Year with a bang, when dengue mosquitoes danced in glee the moment I became their prey T__T As such, �07 marks my first hospital confinement experience, where I went through the horror of regular blood checkups and change of dextrose every so often. Oh the pain. >__<

Let�s forget that and move on to the happy memories of 2007~

• The birth of our blog! =D
• My first ever credit card! (given by the bank, like a New Year present)�marking the start of my anime spending spree~
• Joining the Japanese Speech Competition, where I spoke about my otakuness! (sort of) �though it turned out to be a laugh trip than an inspiring story of success .___.
• Passing JLPT3, and also JITSE/PhilNITS (though I�m still wondering how I passed the latter exam� ?__?)
• First Trip to Japan! ^____^ Now I wanna go back~~~
• Nihongo studies, studying for JLPT2, which will hopefully pay off~
• My new console baby Wii~ (last year was PSP)
• New friends, reconciliation with former enemies. <3

By now, I think most of you will notice that only the bunny chef is active in the Scrumptious blogging scene, and that she has probably turned from a lovable bunny to this sweaty ?????(zenryoku usagi) here, who coincidentally stars in his upcoming self-titled anime this January.
