While I don’t exactly remember falling in love with this OVA when I first watched it (which was like almost a decade ago), I think I actually did, unconsciously so. And now I finally got to rewatch it, after years… and I loved it to bits. Despite the brevity of the anime, the characters grows on you a whole LOT. And it goes without saying that I cried while watching, again. Great old school anime <3

We have another murder case, most of whose roots, background, etc are basically f*cked up (literally and figuratively). They wasted a LOT of time throughout the duration of these two episodes (similar to the President’s case in episode 2-3), yet in the end, they didn’t really show what I wanted… like what really motivated the killer to do all those murders in the first place!! =.=;

Awesome as ever! Now to give credit where it’s due. All this raburabu Kotoko x Naoki we see now is all thanks to… Irie-mama~! the embodiment of the perfect mother-in-law <3 Well what else can I say, this series remains lightheartedly fun and amusing~! Props to both Kotoko and Naoki too for their wacky love-hate antics.

Plot thickens~ and bishies increase again!
By now, I’ve realized that I’m watching this for the lulz, I find the cheesy lines ridiculous, but it still makes the fangirl in me giggle lol.

Now the dilemma, should I write a post poking fun at this, or should I make a SRS BSNS post and really focus on its serious positive aspects, like hashihime. hmm~

so much for slacking off, now I have to recall the insights I had on this episode, which I watched since 3 days ago lol.

basically they switched the scenes in the novel covered by episode 4 and 5, and I have no complaints. I managed to read the 8-page long revelation of Shinkurou’s past in the novel, shown to be a thought monologue of some sort, which happened after his sparring with Yuuno. And wow… just wow. I’m not sure if the anime is planning to show more of this past, now that they actually revealed it (amazing Shinkurou-Benika side-by-side flashback too btw)… but I guess it won’t hurt to spoil about this, ne?

Iku x Dojo <333
I can’t believe this episode brought me to tears… Dojo’s reminiscence of how Iku is soo much like his past self made me go bawww ;___;

on the other hand, the last action sequence was rather anticlimactic… so much for wasting about 3 minutes flashback of the last ep! o_O even the niconico users are complaining. Oh well, the Iku x Dojo moments made up for it

While this show seems to be heading towards a lightheaded love comedy romance with the Library War aspect being a backdrop to this romance, I do think this show will surprise us later on with more SRS BSNS stuff.
