I should’ve had more screentime!! RAWR
I should’ve known that having the anime stay faithful to the novel in the early part of the arc is an OMEN of a forthcoming “omission disaster” TT___TT. Hence, not cutting much in the previous episodes has taken its toll in this rather more critical part of the arc, taking away much of the antics with Ayano, Kazuma, Ren, and the supposedly ‘romantic antics’ as well.
Prepare for some DEEP DEEP frying for this one, thanks to the people who handled the Ren arc x__x On a positive note, this means that almost nil will be cut off with the last episode of the arc (hopefully), because there’s only about 80+ pages to cover (including the epilogue at that), so we’ll most likely be able to see the Kazuma x Ayano ‘scene’ I’m most awaiting >3 (Don’t disappoint now, GONZO, or I’ll really bite you >E)

Kaze no Stigma Episode 11 – Each One’s Determination
Ren finally rids himself of any confusion as he realizes that he wants to see Ayumi again, and even gains the resolve to protect her, believing that there’s gotta be some way to save their clan from their fate. With this episode, Ren finally realizes what it truly means to protect someone, a same sentiment that both Ren and Kazuma share as brothers.

Ayano actually owns a hakama! (part of her wardrobe showcased only in the manga)
I’m still on the search for the Japanese version of the Kaze no Stigma chapters, but unfortunately I can’t find any (and I’m not fortunate enough to get hold of the Dragon Age Magazine where it’s serialized). I plan to buy the tankoubon when it comes out, but I don’t think it’ll be released till months from now >< Anyways, I read two chapters of the Chinese scanlation and I really like how things are going with the manga :3 Without the Japanese version, I guess I'll be sticking to this ><

Kaze no Stigma Episode 10 – People One Ought to Protect
Ren’s saga continues and much has been revealed in this episode, particularly the truth about Ayumi, and her connection with the ‘ritual’ to be performed by the Tsuwabuki clan, as well as the relation of the pixie’s egg with all this. The episode’s title pretty much sums up what Ren has gone through in this episode, as he questions his resolve to protect the ones he love. Surprises await you as these things are unveiled, but with much more questions left to be answered.

Deep Frying Kaze no Stigma 09

I know I’ve been naughty, but I’ve already changed~ (I was even naughtier in the novel~ <3)
Episode 9 covered / merged the first two chapters of Kaze no Stigma volume 3 (93 pages), so you’d expect they took out a lot of stuff. they did omit much of the conversation and altered some things, but surprisingly, it didn’t really affect the episode much so I’ll just skip deep frying :p Nevertheless, I’ll still put them up here, just to add more fun :p

Kaze no Stigma Episode 9 – Meeting Under the Moonlight
After much about Ayano and Kazuma have been shown in the past couple of episodes, it’s finally time for Ren to take the limelight, as we see how this young flame wielder experience falling in love for the first time in his life. Fate however must be playing tricks as their relationship becomes more complicated than what it seems, making them entangled into this mess involving the clan of Kannagi and the Tsuwabuki (an even more twisted clan in the world of KnS)… the introduction to this Romeo x Juliet like story, KnS style

Meet two of our young flame wielders from the Kannagi Clan of Kaze no Stigma. Ayano looking cooler than usual and not in her hot-tempered mode, with Ren looking more mature for his age and not in his usual cutesy look. That, and the change of costumes in this pic are more than enough to think of this as an “Alternative Universe”. Ayano, especially, looks as if she’s an Amazon who came from some oriental action movie, whose costume is somewhere in the line of Yuna of FFX’s.

Treat yourself to some ‘guilty pleasure’ of enjoying seeing Ayano ‘tormented’ in this episode, not because we hate her, but rather because it’s so fun to see her being teased. And now someone else has been added to the family of ‘Ayano teasers’, whose mischievousness is far greater than them (in some aspects). But well, it does produce some good results, like making Ayano x Kazuma fangirls like me melt… :p

Ayano’s time to ’shine’ *you go girl!*
For the first time, I think I’m gonna praise Gonzo for changing things from the novel with this episode, which makes up for the other entertainment they deprived us of. The changes they did especially made this KazuxAya fangirl in me really happy, since it contributed to more waff Kazuma x Ayano moments
(but of course there are still many many things omitted / changed, which is why you have to read this deep frying :p)

Kaze no Stigma Episode 7 – The Value of One’s Soul
This marks the final episode to Misao’s arc, and with this comes the revelation as to what happened ten years ago between Kazuma and Misao, and the reason why he desperately wanted to save her. Ayano also comes face to face with Kazuma, who’s seriously planning to stop him from hindering the Oogami’s plans. What comes about this confrontation, and what end awaits Misao who’s now brainwashed by Tenshi-sama? You just have to watch this Kazuma x Ayano filled episode.
