The lengthy Singapore Trip narrative continued! Also, it was not until later in Day 2 that I also regretted not contacting Stripey-nii for a meet-up… totally slipped my mind x__x;

Finished up more tasks at work to finally wrap up our current project, and so I wasn’t able to take a ‘blogging break’ at work
Anyways, a few days has elapsed since I came back from my trip to Singapore, but the memories is still fresh in my mind. It was wonderful, having to meet some of the SG bloggers, on top of discovering “connections” or how small the world is (further reinforcing the ‘six degrees separation’ theory), though bringing home the 7kg worth of omiyages I bought for my family (to give to 6 families, as well as my officemates) was exasperating. Almost 3/5 of my pocket money was spent on those omiyages ;__;
Anyways, I shall give a lengthy narrative of what has transpired throughout my 4-day stay in Singapore. So beware, this is gonna be really tl;dr. I decided to chop this post into two because it turned really really long.

Sigh, I’m missing Japan, particularly the foodies. It’s been more than a year since my business trip, summer of 2007, and double’s recent post made me reminisce the time I spent in the wonderful place that is Fukuoka. I still wasn’t attached to the blog / blogging community / readers when my lucky trip happened, so I didn’t get to share about it in public. Only to Seleria and other close friends IRL ^^;
I already talked about the loot I bought during my trip, so I won’t talk about that cliché topic anymore. Instead, I’ll show you some of the foods I fell in love with during my 3-week business trip.

I had the luxury of going to Eden nature park during my Davao trip, together with the hamster chef and another friend of ours. We took this opportunity to go on a guided shuttle tour around the vast land of Eden, where we felt really close to nature as we roamed around its beautiful botanical gardens~ There I had a close encounter with… the great chamomiles (or so that’s what I think it is)!!

I am back from my trip, and it’s been no less than fun fun fun
I had such a great time staying at the hamster’s den, not simply because she and her entire family were such kind hosts (smothered us–me and my officemate/ travel buddy, the hamster’s buddy as well–with love, foodies especially <3), but because we got to spend time together with the hamster chef, her sister, and the rest of the hamster’s buddies (including our duck chef BeLe :P)–quality bonding time playing Wii until the wee hours of the morning~
Hanging out someplace in Davao City in the morning, playing Wii at home at night. That’s basically our “leisure lifestyle” throughout the trip, with the scrumptious snacks and meals in between *yum yum*

I was thinking of posting this yesterday but I didn’t quite have the leisure to do that due to my busy work and scheduled trip earlier today… to the clean and green Hamster’s Den! So yeah, I basically crashed in the hamster chef’s comfy cove (together with another friend of ours), and I’m gonna be spending a whooping 5 days here (today is the 1st day, the hamster chef Seleria fetched us from the airport, served us Scrumptious food, toured us around +___+). Tomorrow is the hamster chef’s birthday, and we’re going to spend most of the day in the Pearl Farm

(Obviously, I’m uber delayed for this Christmas Countdown… but oh well, better late than never! >3)
Since I wasn’t able to mention much about the Japan trip I had last July, I guess this is but the time to look back and share more about my lucky Fukuoka escapade~ The only thing I seem to have shared about it is… the pile of loot I bought amidst the Hare-Raising Storm, in this post. My entire trip was far more exciting than that, filled with random interesting sightings and discoveries~
