I never quite understood the rationale behind having multiple twitter accounts (I first noticed this with Icy’s twittering escapade), until Impz announced the birth of the THAT merry bandwagon twitter, and everything just started to make sense! As you’ve noticed (or most likely not), I invaded the sidebar with my self-indulgent twitter-ing, which is, to say the least, a useless pile of crap that no one really bothers to read in the sidebar! I mean, would readers bother checking the site just to see the latest trivial happenings in my life, like a BLOODY paper cut event, for example? If I was just a casual reader who wants to know about animu/manga and couldn’t care any less about the blog author’s boring real life events, I sure won’t give a damn about that.

Foreword: This is what I get for attempting to “micro-blog” in more than one place at a time.

Remember the ‘Asides’ help we asked you guys before? Well, that sort-of worked for and against us (or rather me, the source of all randomness around this blog). It was a delight knowing that you guys are interested in our boring lives and other commentaries we might have. But then because of the jack-of-all-trades ambition of our �Asides�, I also managed to confuse the heck out of myself with the schemes I�ve been devising to make this section more effective and efficient. I brought my MAL and twitter into the blog, which I decided to use for blurbing on animes and RL or otaku stuff, respectively, by aggregating their feeds with the Asides category.

Just to keep you guys updated with what’s happening in the metablogging scene of Scrumptious, here are the bunch of experiments changes/updates made to the blog since my last announcement:

So if you guys haven’t noticed the silly tweakings I’ve been doing with the sidebar and the ‘Asides’ section in the front page, I actually managed to assimilate my MAL blog and twitter blubs into it. I syndicated my posts from these two sites, so they became part of my posts now (hence you also see them in the archives). I think I’m gonna have to exclude these posts from the archives / recent posts list, they don’t seem to belong there >.< If this doesn’t work out the way I want, then I’ll just opt to aggregating my feeds for the ‘asides’, MAL blog, and twitter.
